Weise played in 42 straight games before being healthy scratched and then put on waivers.

If the plan is to replace him with Lehtera and go with only 12 forwards on the roster that would be inexplicable.

- Feanor

It would be a travesty. A blunder to top all blunders. A colossal failure of roster management. Heads should role if that happens. A complete investigation should be held and the team should hire an outside independent advisor to look at all the teams processes and restructure everything.

Varone has not been bad and played well enough for a callup, obviously turnover last game but sh!t happens. I'd like to see NAK over Lehtera, but i don't want to hear anything about Vorobyev. He's warranted nothing to be called up, he had a good camp and that was it.

Raffl-Weal-Weise would be a better 4th line. Varone is the new Akeson.

him > any Flyers GM ever and everyone here

we get that, too

Appealing to the authority of Flyers management is really odd considering they are one loss away from being the worst team in the league again.

Professional NHL executives on a last place team are still authorities compared to the everyday fan.

Haha he's averaged less than 8 minutes a game, what were you expecting? He's been fine.

So if you blindly defend each and every move they make, it makes you smarter than the everyday fan, too?

1 point in 16 games, -3, terrible possession numbers, an ECHL-level turnover in the last game that put the Flyers in a 2-0 hole.

Just what you want from a 28 year old AHL callup.

But he plays a brand of hockey that the Flyers overvalue, so he sticks.

Every game could be a loss without tanking. But they are already tanking by Fletcher deliberately weakening the roster.
- Feanor

Weak and WHorse traded and waived weakening the roster. 🤔 🙃

Nope, what I don't do is blindly criticize every move they make or don't make.

Here is the deal. You routinely base who the Flyers should call up based on their play in the AHL. Varone was the AHL MVP last season.

I can't defend the Phil Varone call up. I guess it's some sort of thanks for having an MVP year at the AHL level?
