The whole injury thing is just that, an excuse. A player may be slower or have bad timing, but effort will always show on the ice no matter what. That was an issue not just with Simmonds and JvR, but many on this team all year.

Flyers really got thoroughly outplayed tonight but they won the goaltender battle. The PK also came up big. With that being said, it was a fun game to watch. Haven't had a lot of fun games lately.

It wasnt all wrong. I have been trying to find the rule, finally did. The Rule states the player must have possession of the puck when the infraction is made in neutral or attacking zones. You cant really interfere with a guy who has the puck
