No way leafs trade for this loser. Lazy. Makes too many boneheaded plays. The bad outweighs the good he brings

- burn

Difference is with Jake you can say "makes too many boneheaded plays" and you could be right.
Not the same with Doughty. It happens but it's obviously much more rare.
Nobody has ever said good players never make mistakes.
Gardiner is CONSISTENT with his boneheadedness and that's what the point of all this is.
He's useful and has a lot of positives in his game, but still.. I can't wait til July so we don't have to do this poop every year. He'll be gone and hopefully replaced by someone better. That's up to Dubas.

I don't understand why you'd replace Kadri with Nylander at center. Especially because it's a notoriously more difficult position and the person suggesting to do that has been consistently berating Nylander for a while now

The answer to your question isnt obvious to you?!? Ya me neither because it makes no sense.

Not a good comparable. UG is more like the Jeff Finger of hockey buzz. Gardiner would be a compliment

it's all part of the strategy....let's other teams like MTL believe they have a chance but you turn it back on #savages

This is the most optimistic thing I've read in a week in regards to the Leafs

You just have to take the bad with Jake. Just have to. No other option. He's a great player. Twitter had him lying, through a fancy GAR model just between Gaudreau/Draisaitl and Dylan mutha(frank)in DeMelo/Jonas amazeballs Donskoi.

Not much difference between the 5 of those players.

Hey, everyone thought Habs would be a lottery pick team this year, being 1 point back of Toronto is a good thing, regardless of how many games in hand you guys can lose!

Not sure who thought that, I just thought they'd miss the playoffs(We can still dream haha). I guess that would be considered a lottery team the way it currently works, so they still could be.

You always have a shot with Price in net IMO.

I'm gonna go with 90% of the people around here.

Those were tough times.

Hell, before training camp, I didn't see them close to the playoffs at all.

Last season was so goddamn abysmal.

I called it when I said in my prediction that the Habs would be the most surprising and also the most disappointing team this season

I'm assuming they surprised you as well...team came out of left field this year. Don't worry though. So did the Devils last year

I do think its actually counterproductive for the Habs to be this high this year. It will just make the rebuild that much longer IMO. Good for the fans to be able to enjoy it though.

And the Leafs/Oilers the year before.

Year 1 is easy. Gets harder when teams take you a bit more seriously.

Finally came to admit that his team was too high in the standings considering their goal differential and it's now been corrected?
