I have to think it's a matter days before Brass is traded. After JR's comments I can't imagine his tenture lasts much longer. - Rinosaur
Those comments were the first thing I thought about when I saw Brass digging for that puck. The question is how long it will last.
Wow....Tanger! |

Just read that Dreger stated it's expected he'll get traded. |

Agreed, at least this is the only night game where I work the next day though. We got it pretty easy with the Friday Saturday games |

The Brassard trade looked good at the time but now it looks like the better Ottawa center to have traded for is Pageau who was rumored to be available last year. Not sure what Ottawa would want for him but maybe GMJR can make it happen. |

I just got in from shoveling knee high extremely wet snow and slush in snow that's falling sideways because if I waited until morning the knee high snow and slush would be frozen solid.
I am wide awake.
Wow Tanger, wow. |

From TIOPS, so tread lightly...
- "Talk" circulating of a Brassard to EDM for Kassian + High Pick, but EDM in on Brass' no trade list.
- There's been some interest in a Brass for Riley Nash trade, but they don't like Nash's remaining hit. Also unlikely they move Brass to CBJ.
- Brass could be moved for a pick then a secondary move made to replace him.
- Brass for Bozak could work if STL was willing to sweeten the deal
-NSH would do a Brass for Bones swap |

Good gawd.....Kassian. Eff that!
Bones and Bozak would be acceptable with money retained.
I'd really don't love any of those deals, but I want someone other than Brassard for sure. |

Agreed. Fück all that.
If they go back to bones JR needs to get booted. |

I think if NSH or STL retained $1M and added a 2nd I think that would be fair.
The only logic I can wrap my head around with Kassian is the Wilson-effect.

Wish he skated like that all the time. Regardless, he should definitely be our 4C. The line of Wilson, Sheahan and Grant was pretty damn good while it lasted.
I just hate how this team is stuck with players because of who they are instead of how they play. |

You're probably not familiar with TIOPS (Pittsburgh sports "insider" website). Like most rumor mills, most of what they say should be taken with a grain of salt.
The only reason I think NSH would do that trade is to get out of that contract. |

Yeah we should not do any of those trades. I hate them all I'd rather sit with Brass and let him walk so we have the cap space next year. |
