Yep, they have zero attachment to Weise. Could easily see this as a move to bring up a younger player and gently place Dale Weise ("veteran presence") down in Lehigh Valley.

Send hart and sanheim down. The flyers are clearly killing their development. Calder run more important. Ie Richards carter.

Hard to understand slumps. Some can be confidence. Sometimes nursing secret injuries. Sometimes life changes. Birth of a child. Sick family member. Kid hitting the teenage years being a handful. Adjusting back to a new city and teammates. Finding his place with the team and in games.

Nobody really knows. Just hoping it continues.

I hope it continues too, I don't need him to score every game...just freakin' try when you are on the ice. 25 games is way too long to be depressed when you are getting paid that much.

Nah let Weise take them to a title. in all seriousness, I do wonder, even if Hart stays til April, if they will send him down for the AHL playoffs.

Saw someone with a Weise Jersey last night.... I almost asked them to stand next to the person with the MacDonald jersey so I could get a pic.

Once you become a NHL player I dont see the reason/need for it. If anything bring sandstrom over for the stretch run. Rather have him rest for next year. He will be playing more games this year if he stays up than he ever has before.

Once Elliott, Neuvirth and Stolarz are healthy they will have 5 goalies. It will get interesting

I'll never forget a few years ago when flyers played the caps in the playoffs the last home game where most had given up on the series some kids brought tickets for the seats behind my season ticket ones. They had on hand stitched shelley jerseys and bragged about how they paid good money for their tickets and jerseys (probably 5$ Jersey from good will) they understood nothing about hockey than they begun cat calling whether sth members 16 year old daughter so me and a few others begun to escort them out before security game and finished the job. They didnt make it to puck drop.

I dont think you see neuvirth again. Elliot seems like late February at least and at that point I just hold 3 and let stoly hart get the bulk of the time.

They're not robots, but it always amazes me when they are surprised, with the season they are having, that stuff like this happens

I don't expect him back but they still have to do something with him (i.e. waive, whatever)

You think we can get him back from the South Korean national team?

Edit: It's pretty crazy that our top prospects less than a decade ago were Eric Wellwood, Jon Kalinski, Marc-Andre Bourdon, Erik Gustafsson, and Kevin Marshall. MAB looked like he a had something going, and the others were good enough to fill-in in a pinch, but they'd have trouble cracking the top-20 on the current farm club.

I know i'm a party pooper, but like someone mentioned earlier waiving someone does not mean you have to send them down. I think Hextall waived him earlier, but since Fletch is new he wants to see if someone bites.

Hey Weise isn't that expensive and pretty easy for a playoff team to add some grit for a run....

Best sales pitch I can do.

Sure, why not?

Even better, because that means he has his own equipment!
