Both booed and will’d off the team. And then both go on to win two cups each.

Our fans are stupid. We say we are passionate but it’s as quiet as a library in the ACC when we are winning. And when we are losing we boo every player we can because they are mad they paid for a ticket they didn’t have to pay for.

Jake is being paid millions of dollars every year to hockey, he needs to have thicker skin when the fans react to sub-par play. Hopefully this is something he can grow on.

It wasn't a lack of effort, it was a lack of a brain.

He was ahead of the guy. All he had to do was get to the puck and ring it off the boards. They were on a power play so odds are it goes to a friendly.

Instead, he tries to body the guy. He does this same stupid move every single time he has someone chasing him after the puck. It's incredibly dumb.

I'm not a Gardiner hater. But he (and Kadri, for that matter) has been playing bad hockey for a couple weeks now. I fully expect them to get out of this funk because they're too good to continuously play this bad.

Kessel didn't get traded because he got booed. He got traded because we couldn't rebuild properly with him on the team.

Fans often boo here and there when a PP is going poorly or they're just losing the game, but it usually fizzles quickly.

People need to stop acting like Gardiner hasn't been bringing this along himself with his play this year. He's been without question worse than he was last year, yet again shown no signs of improvement (this is without question his ceiling, and frankly I think he's starting to decline), and has made some truly terrible plays in the last month.

He brought all of this on himself, and it was the result of much more than just yesterday's game.
