Never happened in MSG - NOT ONCE

It's happened in every arena in the league. People coming here and saying it's only Leaf fans is ridiculous.

They got smoked by a really bad Oiler team. Zero chance of making the playoffs. Actually the tank for Hughes has been in effect for about 3 weeks now.

Howd the leafs do??

I wonder if anyone inside the GTA can see the problem coming with Mariner between his recent attitude, the old man, the all star snub and the contract issue.

It'll be entertaining if nothing else.

- RippedFuel

Go away troll. You should think about how Buffalo isnt going to make the playoffs a bit more though. Enjoy that 9th place finish.

9th would be a gift...theyre headed more to 12th.

Whats really more troubling is what a bust Dahlin is. I hope they realize this before he loses all value. I was hoping maybe him straight up for Puujaarvi

I don't think he does. Gardiner has deer in headlights disease.
Stage 4, probably.
Gardiner isn't completely useless. But our two best D for actually skating the puck out would be MORRgan and Dermott.
Gardiner can skate. Well, in fact. But as soon as he gets time with the puck below our goal line, he freezes. It's actually quite comical.

We all didn't get the best player in the game with our tank year like some teams did.

His offensive results have been poor, but your analysis was way off.

"breaking up the cycle" is a complex sequence of events that involves more than one guy pinning F1 to the boards.

Whole team was bad last night; starts there.

- gravyface

Even when the whole team is bad, gardiner still stands out as being really bad.
Ah well, hes gone after the playoffs

He's not a bust, its Jack ECHL that is bad. He just doesnt know how to hockey. They will end up in 9th with a bad pick for sure. They arent bad enough to get a good pick again, just mediocre treadmill

This times 1000.

I agree that it was a garbo effort yet again last night, but the crippling errors Gardiner makes will never show up on a stat sheet.

Every single game he is a lock to make 5 terrible plays, and I will never stop arguing that the percentage of times they are critical is higher than any other D in the league.
