Bobrovski and Luongo. I guess Bobs is kind of his homerun - neem55
Luongo was already a stud in Florida so basically Bob is the feather in his cap
Pretty damn good one at least |

I didn't say OJ was a bust , I said it was a bad pick for 5 overall |

Can’t say he’s a bust, but he could turn into a cautionary tale about drafting based on need rather than BPA. |

Based on JBs trade record I think his best bet is drafting for need.
Just playing the odds. |

Based on his record drafting for need I think his best bet is to draft BPA. Again, odds. |

0-1 is the odd you’re basing your opinion on? Or are there others you consider “need” picks? |

Probably be able to trade him for McDavid next year when the Oilers select Hughes and decide to go in a different direction. |

Shockingly short. In response to being the most hated team in the league the Canucks iced a team that was as easy as possible to play against. |

I think McDavid for Tanev would be more in line with their philosophy. |

We spit at work, obviously, otherwise I’d be dead, but some days it’s harder than others. |

Pettersson was a need pick as well.
That's why he's a center here even when he wasn't a center last season in Sweden. Great pick and BPA in hindsight. JBs homerun. |

Sorry but if you are waiting 4 years before a player gets a sniff of the NHL you don't draft him at number 5 you get those players in the second and third round.
He still has a lot of flaws in his defensive game also. He is very soft around his own goal .
He has some upside to his game in the other end but he is not a number 5 pick. - VANTEL
So sounds like you'd offer him up along with our 1st and more for 1oa or 2oa? |

All quiet on Edler contract front. Polled some agents today who feel Edler could cost the #Canucks more than 5 million on 3-4 year deal now but he will get more on July 1st. The lockout year will be big in Edler deal, agents feel his camp will want big signing bonus that year.
I sincerely hope he doesn't get that term. He clearly likes Van so make him take a hometown discount if he wants to stay |
