I wonder how quickly that will cause JR to make a move. This is an area I'm not well-versed in, but with Schultz back, won't have they have to take someone off the roster due to the roster size? Waivers, etc...

Rikkola is waiver exempt. I don't think they'll waive Ruhwedel but certainly possible. In his last couple of interviews, Rutherford says he's likely to trade a D.

Oleksiak is a bottom pairing defenseman.

If the Wings has a smart GM they wouldn’t be looking to acquire guys with low ceilings. But they do have Holland at the moment so anything is possible.
