22 should be on the high side. 20 would be great on Max deals though. Term is the big question.

Mathews wont make more then Tavares. He might get the same but he hasn't earned more Imo. Marner will be 2 mill less. So i'm gonna say 20 mill combined. 11 for Mathews and 9 Marner. Book it...

I think he's very poor. Probably the worst of all their dmen. Their fans seem to blame him more than other dmen as well.

It's why I'm always sceptical trading for dmen who come from a team with such a defensive system, with defensive forwards and a needless desire to just cycle the puck. Like Scandella in Buffalo, Vatanen in New Jersey and Hamilton on Calgary.

It's a shock to their system when they get involved in games with a decent amount of scoring chances
