Same. And the cheap tickets are an opportunity to take the young ones. Not the same games my dad took me to when I was younger but they'll still make future fans out of them. Hart sanheim hagg among the positives imo from this season - Tfaehner
I agree with everyone's sentiment about our team, but this is child abuse |

I'll be at the game tonight. I think they're giving away free hats or something in the arena? Wouldn't be surprised if a few of them landed on the ice, and not because of a hat trick.
But... Let's go Flyers. |

Ok, this is good. Now that the delusion of making the playoffs this season is finally put to bed, it’s time for the players that are playing injured to call it a season.
The benefit to this is two fold. It will ensure the team doesn’t go on a completely meaningless win streak to put themselves out of a top five pick, and it allows said players to get fully healthy for next season.
I’m thinking Provorov should be at the top of this list. Anyone else? |

The Flyers wake up on Thursday morning with the fewest points of any team in the NHL (35). They are 16 points plus tiebreaker disadvantages (so, in other words, 17 points) below the playoff cutoff line. - bmeltzer

For some reason, beyond explanation, I will be tuning into the game tonight. I spent 7 years outside of Buffalo and another 2 years in Illinois. Finally got back to the area and I have to 1. deal with Comcast, and 2. Watch this team. Center Ice package was great once they were allowed to start showing the Flyers home feed. It was blocked for a few years. Had to listen to all of the homers from the other teams.
Don't know where I was going with this post. Kinda like the Flyers season... - cdearth23
Center Ice on Comcast kinda sucks: no HD |

When it gets warmer, if tix are still cheap, I might take my girl down to another game via subway and make a day of it in the city with her. But right now, tickets aside, parking and tolls are too much. |

This team is still my team. I still look forward to every game. I can't say I enjoy it as much or sometimes not at all when they're not competitive but it's still my team. - MJL

Buy the ticket now for the warmer weather months. Just in case we get better.
But yeah the one advantage I have is I'm roughly 3 miles from the stadiums. |

Bill,
I really appreciate that you said the Flyers are basically not making the playoffs. I think once the team admits this and moves the veterans out at the deadline and begins starting the youth the fans will understand and accept what is happening here and not be so hard on the team and players. At least that is how I feel as a STH. I dont mind watching losses, I do mind watching "meaningless" losses. - youarewrong
Anyone who didn't recognize at Thanksgiving that the playoffs were not happening was delusional. |

Sure, let's let a bunch of kids play their first NHL games in this mess and use that as a tool to evaluate them.
Makes sense. |

Um no.
Some of these players probably have bonus incentives so I am sure they would like to reach them. Also players have pride and if not injured want to play. And guys are playing for jobs and contracts. |

Only when it comes to the ones about the girl who sleeps with every man in New York, the unfunny comic, the wacky zany racist guy, and the fat short ugly man who gets hot women but breaks up with them over a tiny, insignificant flaw. |

Had an awful dream. Flyers lost 12-6 to Ottawa. Giroux had 6 points was a +3
Fletcher went and traded Ghost and Simmonds after the game return is unknown but there was some prospect named Banana and acquired Shea Weber in a separate deal. Cant recall any more information |
