Also one thing to keep in mind:

When it comes to internet service your modem AND router makes a big difference.

Obviously if you get gig service a DOCIS 3.1 modem is required. So I won't go too much into that since it doesn't seem you really need it.

As for lower speeds, this also depends on whether you own a modem or rent. I personally have bought my own modem for at least 15 years now. If you are patient and have the chance to plan ahead you can normally find a good deal on one, but do research not all are the same. It will save you a lot of money in the long run instead of paying those monthly fees.

The most important thing to know about what modem you have or when buying one is the number of bonding channels it has. That greatly affects your speeds. DOCIS 3.0 I believe has a speed cap of 500 down, but you might be able to see a bit above that when doing speed tests on a wired line.

Bonding Channels
4x4
8x4
16x4
24x8
32x8

First number represents your down and second is your up. Obviously the more bonding channels you have the better. Most people have a household of MANY online connected devices (phone, consoles, pc, tablets, etc) so more bonding channels means more devices you can have connected at once. If you have multiple tvs in the house streaming, one person playing games and multiple phones and only have a basic 4x4 modem then you will experience throttling and other issues. I would recommend at least 8x4 or 16x4 for your service depending on how many people in your household, but the 24/32x8 are mostly used for gig services or above.

My old modem was a DOCIS 2.0, so it was time. I just bought a modem/router from Belkin, it a DOCIS 3.0 that is 8x4. One TV with streaming service and 3 mobile devices.

Edit: Netgear, not Belkin

Not my place to agree or disagree with you on that as we have official Social Media outlets to handle such statements.

Can share other info for sure though! =)

* All first- and second-year NHL players, and all unsigned draft choices, will be exempt from selection (and will not be counted toward protection limits.

I believe you are correct but the site does make it unclear.

- nastyflyergirl

So that would mean the only players currently on the roster that would be exempt by the time the expansion draft happens would be Frost, Zamula and all unsigned prospects.

Just realized with a loss tonight in regulation the Flyers will be officially last place with same amount of games played and higher teams with some games in hand...

What if....

The Flyers traded a player or two to a team that was on the bubble for their 1st round pick, they missed the playoffs AND the Flyers won #1 AND #2 picks.

So we traded with Edmonton?

I mentioned before Anaheim edmonton Minnesota and Colorado have 1 2 4 and 2 wins in their last 10 games. All have playoff aspirations. All would be good trade partners.

The 90/91 Upper Deck French boxes with the brown bottoms (as opposed to the white ones) went for $500+ at one point. The Bure and Fedorov's were like $40 each. Now, you could maybe get $2 for each, and probably a box for $30.

Score, card #440. Again, those were $20 at one point. Still a $3 card.

What's even crazier was the Press Conference card. 92/93 Score US, less than one per CASE (20 boxes). Went for over $100. Picked one up a few years back for $5.

Lots of bubble teams that aren't guaranteed to make playoffs...

Montreal, Buffalo, NYI, Carolina, Florida, Dallas, Colorado, Anaheim, Minnesota, Vancouver, Edmonton

You can add Pittsburgh, Columbus, Boston in there too. A lot of things can change from now and end of year.

Yeah sports cards went in the toilet once they introduced the "special special limited edition" insert type cards. To me they are pointless.

I do treasure some of my older rookies though like obviously my Gretzky and Lindbergh. Don't know what they are worth, don't really care because they are priceless to me.

Loosely it is as I actually support Activision along with all the other ATVI+Blizzard+King studios from a Collab perspective also.

The gaming world is a different place then when that deal was originally made..makes total sense for Bungie.

Well it makes sense for both sides, but still surprised. Obviously Activision didn't get what they thought they would out of the Destiny franchise, but Bungie had different opinions. Personally I haven't been impressed with anything Bungie has done since Halo 3.

Also not sure if you know or even have the ability to discuss, but since Bungle hold's the IP rights would they have the option to put Destiny on other platforms such as Steam, Epic, etc?
