You will have to call comcast or verizon or whoever you get your bundle through and ask to downgrade your service to internet only, and you want the 2 year contract rate. Threaten to leave them entirely if they don't budge.

If you get a stubborn person on the phone, hang up and try again. Most are scripted to retain the customer no matter what. You shouldnt be paying more than 50 dollars per month for internet at 100/100. That is plenty unless you are streaming a ton of devices simultaneously.

Then trial Sony Vue and YoutubeTV and see which you like better. Your bill should be 100/mo for everything.

It takes some effort but is totally worth it. I don't miss cable one bit.

Agreed, this company brainwashing that everything is illegal is getting old. Technically, according to greedy companies, letting someone borrow a movie, music cd or a book is against the law. Again according to them, paying for something does not mean you own it, it just means you purchased the right to use it at their discretion.

As long as you don't profit off someone else's work or copyrighted material everything is fair game, but they don't want you to believe that.

I just went through this and dropped my bill from $65 to $45 for two years. The first guy will say $65 is the best they can do. Threaten to cancel and the next guy will drop it. It takes some work but it's worth it.
