Interesting stats...only 1 teams has a CF% above 50% when leading...and it's only 51.%

28 teams with CF% above 50% when trailing.

So teams with great CF% must be chasing games a lot?

- annoyed

It would be interesting to see CF% stats while teams are tied.

I can see it already.... Leafs get the W, Hyman with no points and +1, and the first headline we will see is "Does Hymans play make Nylander expendable?"

No.

Nylander's selfish attitude, lackadaisical play, lack of meaningful contributions and crushing salary cap hit makes Nylander expendable.

Nylander is making Nylander expendable. 1 goal, 2 assists in 14 games played makes
Hyman look like Gretzky. The Seattle draft is beckoning hello Nikita and Willie.

hindsight...

Nylander and a pick or prospect for McDonagh makes a lot of sense now - Tampa with a weaker team and Leafs with a stronger. Would probably make Leafs look just as strong as Tampa on paper... Aaand it would've been a great deal both for NYR and the Leafs.

Finally, some enlightenment in here. Willy proved that he wanted to be a mercenary, with his contract demands and putting himself ahead of the team. Dubas ran cover for him after he signed and said that he had no plans to deal him. I think that we've had a big enough window of time to see what this guy is all about. He kind of reminds me of Kessel, when he got his $8 X 8 payday. Come into camp out of shape, don't skate all summer and play lazy, I don't really give a sh!t hockey. His unwillingness to get out to the point on the 2nd Nashville goal by Subban was a prime example of his unwillingness to compete. Having a player like this in your dressing room is a recipe for failure, going into the playoffs. How long must a coach deal with an overpaid, lazy player before the GM realizes the detrimental effects on the chemistry of the team? The Leafs ought to be shopping him right now, so the return can have time to fit in with his new team-mates. Willy has to go, sooner than later.

I'd prefer a Dougie Hamilton for Nylander trade, even-up.
