While he didn't get a lot of shots on net, did anyone else think that Hayden had one of his best games of the season last night? If he could bring that every game... he would play every game. Simple, went to the corners, won pucks, laid some Preds into the end boards. All good things. - Chunk
Agree with you and AEL, he had a good game. When he plays as a 4th liner, he's very effective. I liked his whole line the entire game. Props to JC on his line-up changes ... now put 12 and 88 together. They play awesome together on the pp, let's see that translate the rest of the game. |

Did he hear word if Parkey is staying?
He's been with us a long time, so good for him. I just hope the next guy does the same thing with this great defense we got. They're going to be something for years to come. - I Am The Breadman
Cutting him would create $5.5 in dead cap space. |

It's got nothing to do with Wirtz, buy your selling made me think of a story. My grandfather, rip, told me stories about him with Hull. My grandfather went to just about every signing he was at, and actually drank shots with him at a bar. One signing event, my grandfather was right behind a guy with a curved hockey stick, the same that Hull played with. Hull said, "I got to have that stick." Hull gave him tickets, a jersey, something else that I can't remember for the stick. Fair trade, haha, he definitely made it worth the while for the guy. - I Am The Breadman
My Grandfather ran into Dennis Savard at an OTB like maybe ten years ago, he's big on betting the horses, and got to shoot the poop with him for about an hour or so and got his autograph lol

Wow, that's awesome! Savy seems like he'd be a funny guy to talk with. 6 degrees of separation, haha. |

I don't know, I think I heard Arizona is big on him. We'll see how it plays out. |

Funny to use the word "dead" when most of Chicago wanted him dead after the miss.
I do hear what you're saying though. I wonder if they'll look into bringing Robbie back. I think he would. |

From the , 'No, they are actually worse' department:
According to Dom Luszczyszyn of The Athletic, the Blackhawk's CF% under Jeremy Colliton is 46.6%, ALMOST 5 POINTS WORSE than in the games under Q this season. |

How about a proposed OT rules change. Institute a shot clock. Once you enter the offensive zone, you have 10 seconds to shoot the puck. - boilermaker100
Ooooohhhh, I like that one. Like StL, I was lamenting how boring 3-on-3 had become now that everyone figured out all it took was maintaining possession.

Ahh same as me. Yeah I looked a few places and I couldn't find it either. I'd say in the next few weeks here they'll be back in stock. Especially once they start pumping out the Kane All Star jersey too (which looks pretty sweet BTW). I was gonna say, I've never done it, but I've heard you can call the Blackhawks store and order over the phone and I believe they can ship it to you. Not 100% sure on that though. Other than that actually going to the Hawks store located in the atrium or in the city would be your best bet, but idk where your located at. I'm sure either would have it in stock, b like you said you're not in any rush to get one - Savetheembers33
They will. Have a Hawks fan friend in Singapore who tried and had all kinds of issues, though, so if you're international, best to call and check. |

Mine is simpler, 5X5 for OT have double wide and tall goals. Even Schmaltz would shoot the puck. |

I'm like 5 miles northwest of Elgin along I-90, so unless I am downtown or going to a game (which I have no plans to do either anytime soon), I probably won't visit the stores. I'll just wait until everyone has stocked up on them again. But they are really awesome looking jerseys! - ToewsdNKanefusd
Oddly enough - I know where Hampshire is ... know a lot of guys that went to Burlington Central (although I was from St Charles ... about a mile more west and instead of going to St Charles High (there was only the one then) - I would have gone to Burlington...
mind, you I live in Perth WA now ... small world. Hope you find one, those have grown on me - hopefully I can find one that can be customised...

NHL revealed each team's All Star game jerseys. Black and white with heather grey tones. Pretty boring. Haven't seen the ASG jerseys yet for the actual game but there will be one for each of the 4 divisions. |

Second City Hockey is doing a mid-season Top 25 Under 25. Here's 21-25:

21: Hillman

Tomorrow SCH will review 16-20. The rest next week. - AEL_Fox
I always like reading these, I think they're interesting. Thanks, AEL. |

You bet.
I don't have an Athletic subscription but SCH does reference an article about Hagel changing up his training regimen and impressing Stan with his defense which is great from a prospect who is a 1.50 PPG player.
https://theathletic.com/6...prove-the-doubters-wrong/
I don't pay attention to goal/assist totals much for Rockford players but didn't know Hillman doesn't have any points yet. Totally fine, though, as a defensive D-man who plays the 1st unit mainly with Carlsson as a shutdown pair. Similarities between Hillman and Murphy as well as Carlsson and Dahlstrom. |

Me neither.
That is odd about Hillman, even for a defensive defenseman. Was he injured, or have a hard time playing regularly?
Really good to hear about Hagel. I'm glad he wasn't a part of Buffalo's plans. |

Did you see the post-game interview? No excuses from Toews. Came right on and said he was beat. Handled it like a true professional and leader. - MNHawk
Nah but that is what makes him a great Captain. Glad to hear he said that. He didn't seem like himself last year at all. THAT kind of post game comment sounds like the Toews everyone loves. |

Was at the Winter Classic. Those sweaters are (frank)ing awesome. They should be the 3rds going forward. I know they are wearing them for 3 home games this season but they need to keep them. |

Beware the overager is all I will say about Hagel. Sure, he could be a late bloomer or a person the message finally reached but have take big production from an overager with a barge of salt. |

I'm level headed with all of our prospects, but there are guys I'm rooting for more than others. I'm just saying it's good to hear, and hope he keeps it up as he moves to the Ahl and possibly beyond. |
