All I'll say is im glad Toews is scoring again, I'm disappointed in his defense, this was a forward who was great at defense, put his nose in the corners to get the puck, and now floats won't engage forward in corners, does the patented Blackhawk skate up to the forward fake like you're going to engage him then peel off trying to intercept the pass. They do it so much experienced teams just hold the puck while the Blackhawk skates away.

Dam !! that was a tough loss .AA nice hands on the tying goal . Like the effort tonight no quit in this team . Not Delia best game ,made some big saves to keep them in it in the 3rd . Toews leading by example, great SH goal .Got caught out there at the end ,Delia should have had that one . Hard stretch 3 in 4 nights ,Finishing against a tough team .This was a bellwether game for me ,and I am still undecided as this could have gone either way . Got to keep plugging away .GO HAWKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He just said himself in his post game interview that he was terrible today. Own zone, passing, puck control, need to calm down, etc. Whether self-awareness or JC coaching or both, at least he's feeling it.

He was moving really quick this game. He's on pace for a career season, something he hasn't done in quite some time, that Tappen, Keith, and Mike all said.

couldn't agree more. He was beat on a play, it happens. He has played very well this season, which all Hawks fans were begging for. I cannot wait until the Hawks have the horses in the stable again to compete. I have been pleasantly surprised and impressed with the compete level overall more recently. No matter where they finish this year, their youngsters will get better from these experiences. I am much more excited about their future today than I was six weeks ago.

NHL teams with a player like Gus on their blueline just never win anything.

It has appeared to me that the better Gustafsson's offensive game gets, the less he has cared about the defensive side.

It's becoming a big problem and I hope Colliton and Brookbank bring this up or limit his ice time.

He is being played above his pay grade. He would serviceable as a 3rd pair PP guy. Its time to move Jokesonyou back up with Keith. Joki is the future. Let him play and learn from his mistakes. Cause it appears Gustafsson can't.

Exactly what I feared with this recent run of average play we’ve been on.

We’d be much better off dropping as many pts as possible and getting the best possible chance at drafting #1

19 was looking to get off the ice before the goal. He almost had the opportunity but decided not to take the risk. Probably a good choice. Give the guy a break, he played a strong game.
