Chirelli has the position of GM but he is not in total control, they hired him to save lowes ass and his legacy of the past. Lowe is still in control somewhat but chirelli takes the heat to save lowes name in oilerville.

I like Kakko but really the WJC shouldn't be a big factor in draft position. Just a short tourney, not indicitive of much apart from goalies ability to hold their nerve under pressure

The deal that got nixed at the draft table was Kadri Bozak and a second. Botchford said he saw the deal signed at the draft and Luongo said NO. Gillis a few weeks ago that Botchford was accurate with his reports.
