Looks like the Oilers will be picking 1st over all again.
- Marwood

I'm fine with that, they can have another soft offensive forward who can't play defence, or bust another Finn.

Nah...Oil will steal the WC spot and dump the Flames out first round.

I can't confirm or deny this but I heard Hamilton is a major issue in the dressing room which is why Boston and Calgary and even now CAR are moving on from him...heard he is majorly religious and doesn't warm to a lot of the dressing room antics/jokes that go on with most players. Could be wrong but that's what I've heard.
- LordHumungous

I feel like O'Reilly, Duchene and Hamilton wherever they go seem to cause a problem and the team sucks. When teams move on from them, they get better.

Pittsburgh can make any player better but couldn't with DP. Why would rookie Green make him better?
- manvanfan

Green loved him in Portland and lots of coaches have preferred Dmen...but you are right if PIT couldn't turn him around with that talent level we can't. Move on.

When that questioned was asked last year I answered it with names and where the points would come from. Most of it I was right and things like saying Sutter would pick up some slack I was wrong. The thing is most of the answers were from our own system.

Our D prospects are not bad at all , but you can't bring them all in raw at the same time. Hughes is a definite fit and will have no problem replacing Hutton as a second pairing guy at this time but no way he can defend the NHL best for 25 minutes a night (yet).

You can't run with Hughes OJ Hutton as top 3 LHD with partners of Stecher and Guddy or bulldog. Bring them in one at a time.

Instead on one guy playing almost 30 minutes maybe 3 guys will all play 18-20 minutes. If Tanev is still here he can anchor different partners throughout the game. I’m just saying people were worried about where the goals would come from (not you or I) and it turns out not to be that big an issue. I believe the same would happen on the back end. Having said that, I feel like Edler will sign an extension before the deadline and this whole conversation will be moot.

Yup I have heard that too. Canucks are not a partying team it might be a good fit. St. Petey and Brother Dougie , the possibilities are endless

Olesiak had 22 points in 140 games with Dallas. Since being traded to Pitt 80 games and 24 points.

I don't care honestly if he is back or they find a replacement. The thing with him is you know what you get and you know the cost. I don't want them going out and spending 7.5 x6 for Gardiner. I have trust in our farm system and I want EDler short term 2 years , bring in Hughes and later either OJ or McEneny as a bottom pair guy. In two more years bring in Woo.

After being on here and talking with Bloated about a trade I had a dream last night Canucks traded for Dougie Hamilton. This morning I wake up and see Hamiltons name on the trade block now by NHL trade rumors. .
- VANTEL

Nope unless it’s for Pouliot.

Carolina get rid of Lindholm Hanifin and Skiiner in one year and take back Ferland and Hamilton and it is Hamiltons fault ?

Ottawa lose Karlsson Hoffman and Turris but it is Duchenes fault

St L looses a coach Shattenkirk is getting old and slow but it is ROR fault.

I am joking with you but these teams made a lot of stupid moves before these players got here .

Eriksson and Pouliot are f*cking garbage. A waste of contract space.
Awful game.

Canucks should take a look at Schmaltz. 25 yrs old 6'2 RHD drafted 25 th OA better option than Biega 700k for 2 years

I wonder if Petey would 'really upset' if Green was fired.

would be nice to have a coach that has his back.

All good but it is tough to argue the fact that those teams have been better without O'Reilly, Duchesne and Hamilton on their rosters. It is what it is.
