Actually I wouldn't hate flipping Skinner for Draisaitl. Edmonton gets McDavid a proven scorer for his wing, we get a 2nd line center.

If it's a sign and trade it's a 1 for 1 deal IMO

If that were to happen and he returns to form, it's a great steal...if not, meh because...
I don't have alot of faith in Nylander and so trading him away is of little consequence IMO.
It is a classic trade of two who have so far been of Failure to Launch status.
2020 1st hopefully is squarely in the mid-to later 20's

I was all about the Puljujarvi train pre-draft he was dominate in the 2016 World Juniors

Line splits show that Draisaitl has been playing LW with MCDavid, and the C.
Edmonton seems to mix their line combos pretty frequently.
Eh, whatever.
I'd be surprised if Edmonton let ho of him though.

No to him being in form in NHL
Yes, he has been on the big club...commentary I have read thought he should have spent a year or two in the AHL. I guess he was sent down for a short stint recently and dominated...then comes back up and more of the same non-production.
Maybe Sabres could get him going straighter like they seem to be having success with TNT
