No, he hasn't. I would guess having your first kid could throw a wrench or 47 into the works. Nevertheless, I'd still have him over Wilson. - Wetbandit1
IMO the difference is negligible.
Erod is ok, Wilson is ok. I expect neither here next year when they bolster the middle six

Found this nugget:
"Vladimir Sobotka was granted a maintenance day and did not practice Friday. Scott Wilson skated in his place, centering the fourth line alongside Conor Sheary and Tage Thompson. Sobotka is expected to play Saturday at Boston, Housley said."
Maybe Wilson is ready to take Elie's place, inshallah

That would be fine with me. Elie is absolutely nothing.

Gotta figure Elie is going on waivers, nobody will claim him and he'll refuse to report to Rochester and ends up a bouncer at the Stumble Inn in Etobicoke.

He's been tremendous. There were many times against Florida where he looked like Eichel lite.
That trade continues to look better with each passing day.
I wonder if the Blues give up their pick this year if it's in the 6-9 range. - kingcong39
He's been inches away from multiple goals and assists in the last few games as well.
It just really amazes me because If I was JB he would have been Rochester bound after the first 10 games. Now he's been one of our better players most nights.
Honestly, I think the Blues end up right on the outside when all is said and done and we get a pick in the 10-15 range. Which is great in this draft.
The trade is a home run. It gives us flexibility and a good playuer who's 21, plus the two picks

fyi...they changed it to peterson - Michael Pachla
I noticed that, thanks. Good for Peterson. He's done fairly well in Cincy (6g 7a in 20 games) and got the call up. He's been forgotten about as he was a 7th rd pick by Darcy in 2012 and decided to stay in school all 4 years after a stint in the USHL. He might be a decent bottom 6 guy in Rochester.

The Berglund situation sure helps the quality of the return, and as you said, all credit to GMJB and the coach as it certainly did not look good for quite a few games early.
Even though it's not going to happen, I'd dearly love to see them sign Stone from Ottawa. He would be a massive lift to the forward core.

I would imagine the 13 spots go like this next year
9
23
53
37
72
trade or FA
trade or FA
21 (unless a miracle trade)
22
28
17 (unless a trade)
CJ Smith
Nylander
Also have Asplund and Olofsson trying to get a spot.
I just don't see them here unless maybe 21 is moved out - sbroads24
I think Olofsson gets a spot next year, Asplund the following year. Not quite sold on Nylander yet, not quite sure what to make of him. He has spurts of good games then falls asleep.

Yeah, always liked him.
A lot of the fancy stat people think he should be a Selke candidate this year too.
