Stone feels like a pipe dream but he would be a dynamite fit in so many ways. - kingcong39
He's definitely a pipe dream, he'll probably re-sign in Ottawa. He would be perfect on this team. |

Taylor Hall? Wut, woah dude. You think Joisey trades him. Didn't see that one. We would have to give a ton. |

I'm curious as to what the price would be for him?
I am not a fan of moving Risto, and I don't think there is anything else the Oilers would want, but then again it's Chia... |

19 or 20 1st rd pick - mhp
Very impressed by him and UPL in the world junior's. Lakksonen is a beautiful skater and puck handler. 3 years from now, he will be on the Sabres and flourishing. Botts did well drafting these two Finns. |

I wonder what it would take. If the Oil are looking to the future, maybe Nylander, one of our 1sts and a roster player? They probably would want Risto for sure. Do we do that and move Dahlin to RD permanently? |

Thompson, Girgs, McCabe for RNH? Not a huge fan of RNH, so idk what he's really worth |

Hmmm
Which means McCabe (or Scandella if Chia is drunk)
A prospect and a pick
I could live with that |

Does USA finish it off tonight, or does 6K steal the show and get everyone wet in here?
Huge game against boston tonight, wont be easy without eichel. Does ullmark get the start, and begin to assert himself as the #1 with another good performance? |

I'm not a fan of trading any assets of worth, such as 1st round picks or quality prospects, for players that aren't no brainers. RNH is a nice player, but he's not good enough to warrant quality assets going the other way IMO, especially Risto. |

Botts did a fantastic job in the last two drafts. The '17 draft might go down as one of the best by a Buffalo GM in 20+ years. Mitts, Davidsson, 6K, Lakksonen, Bryson and Weissbach. Weissbach actually had a solid year as a freshman last year at Wisconsin and has 11 points in 9 games so far this year. Bryson is one of the best dmen in Hockey East and is having another great year at Providence, 14 points in 19 games. He needs to be signed this year.
I follow the draft pretty closely and I didn't see Lakksonen till the 4th or even 5th rd. Great pick. |

If you want to see the impact Dahlin has on the Sabres record:
In the team's 22 wins: 3-12-15/ plus-13
In the team's 19 regulation/OT losses: 1-4-5/ minus-11.
-mike Harrington.

He's a 2nd line center playing at a 74 point pace
I think the Sabres would love a guy like him
He's 25 years old, signed for 2 more seasons, and has a $6 million cap hit per year
Risto and Thompson aren't going anywhere
McCabe on the other hand I would move for a player like RNH. |

I'm pretty sure that you could comprise similar stats for a lot of guys showing better stats when we win vs. when we lose. That's kinda how it works. |

Agree on Risto. With 4 1st rd picks in the next 2 years, we could certainly give up one if we choose and still have 3 to pick. I don't know, RNH is a nice player. Maybe he needs a change of scenery. Don't also forget his cap hit of $6M for the next 2 years. Chia Pet could get sucked in to another bad trade lol. |
