My nephew did, said it was great.

My break isn't long enough for the crap I want to do.

- I Am The Breadman

Cool, I'm only halfway through out but so far so good.

My co-worker watches a ton of TV and she loves Dirty John on Bravo. She's also a diehard Handsmaid's Tale fan.

Agreed, already stated I was wrong in saying to dump him. Although, if he doesn't show much more for the rest of this season, do you think they should still resign him?
- ToewsdNKanefusd

I think you are correct that it is a close call if things remain the same, similar to the Duclair decision last year. I would lean a little on the side of signing him back. There is a bit of a pause in upcoming forward prospects and there is a window for Perlini to prove himself for a year or so. I think they could renew the contract for a small raise as an RFA and get a look-see for another year.

Literally just finished it.

It was intense but had some holes. Very different though.

Sorry that I'm not answering your question. Leafs are high on Gardiner and have said they want to resign him.
- I Am The Breadman

Leafs like Gardiner but are in a tough spot. They need the help on D but he's gping to command 6-7M some think. That's too rich for their blood with Marner, Matthews and Kapenan all needing massive raises.

Will be interesting to see what happens.

I want to start Handmaid, it looks great. I never heard of the other. I loved Sharp Objects (HBO) and The Knick (Cinemax). I just recently learned the main female character is Bono's daughter, in The Knick.

Heard the same thing about holes in the movie. Then there are those who read the book who are extra critical of it. From the first half I've seen so far, I think it does a good job pulling off the general plot and doesn't really on jump scares. Horror and thriller movies that can do that are well done in my book. Babadook is like that if you've heard of that film.

Babadook is a little hokie but the scare elements are pretty good and a nice departure from a lot of horror movies lately.

Jordan Peele's new film Us is supposed to be good. Haven't seen his first one Get Out but friends and co-workers rave about it. Some say it's very disturbing and the imagery is tough to get out of your head.

I need to see Get Out also, but heard really great things. Just saw a preview for Us, it looks messed up! Peele is supposed to do a reboot of Twilight Zone, I was told.

Just watched it the other day. I'll watch it again soon, and make a different choice when Stefan is in the office.

It truly is.

It'll be even funnier if the Hawks can take advantage of teams in cap hell now that CHI has some space.

Classic moment in the Hawks-Nucks rivalry. Loved how Eager embarrassed Bieksa and literally undressed him in this fight. For those that remember, this is the Burrows hair pulling incident with Keith.

Tom wilson smithpelly beagle etc how did Washington beat pitt tampa and vegas scoring throughtout thier lineup and physical beat the crap out of them so physical players and role players matters to win the cup.
- Scott1977

Although size isnt everything you can mention Ovie, Backstrom, Oshie, Kuznetsov
Burakosky all can win board battles, yes skill matters but size does also

Not denying that physicality is essential but it shows up in different ways. Like you mention winning board battles.

On the '13 and '15 teams, Bickell laid a lot of hits, so did Shaw, but those teams were more about puck control and absorbed a lot of hits to make plays. Just ask Ryan Kesler.

So yes, some more physicality from this team would be welcome but it doesn't always have to mean gooning it up a la Tom Wilson, like you point out.

I personally would keep Saad and like a both/and rather than an either/or scenario with a forward like Niederreiter. Nino is a gritty power forward who plays really physical in the slot and along the boards but can be streaky.

For this season, Sikura got 3 points in 10 games. If he can add one more point in each subsequent 10-game sets, he would get around 23-25 points in 49 games which is around a 0.50 PPG player. Not bad for a rookie year playing less than 10 minutes a game.

Even if he ends with less points, he is at least displaying little things that can help the team compete like dumping and chasing, battling for pucks along the boards, being like a fly on manure on the forecheck, generating takeaways, and sticking to his post in the D zone rather than floating or collapsing low. I would expect a big uptick in his offense next season.

- AEL_Fox

Keeping Saad while adding Nino would be ideal, but what do we have that
Minny might want for him?

I see what you're saying about Sikura and hope he can improve, I just
don't see it, wish he had Fortins speed that would change everything.

Bird Box is really well done, I read the novel and watched the movie. I just wish Netflix made it a 10 part series instead of a movie.

I finished Handmaid not long ago.... that's an impressive show. It sticks with you even after it's over. Very dark but so well done.

For Horror fans I'd recommend Haunting of Hill House on Netflix.

Watch the lightning. They have many "undersized" players, who like Kruger win most board battles. They take advantage of speed and arrive faster and dictate the play. Their guys have more skill then Kruger.... Gourde, Point, Johnson, Cirelli, Joseph...

The lightning control the puck= to and likely more than the Hawks used to. 4 lines of speed, grit and talent. Very tough to beat, but a lot of fun to watch. 3 times this year on 5 on 3s they not only scored on 5 on 3, but the power play right after.

I believe SB is building his roster similarly. Right now, obviously, we do not have the talent up front and back end....but that is the goal...
