Keith-Seabrook is an actual pairing? I thought that was just from a partial change. - Chunk
JC changed up the pairs. |

Hawks to pk, Forsling holding.
God, I compliment the guy once.......
Barzal, 2-1. - I Am The Breadman
Now are we allowed to whine? Or will Assman complain again? |

Bad holding call, no goalie interference on the PK, no boarding calls tonight, (frank) this game tonight |

Just ignore it, say what you want, it's a message board. His ire over what you or anyone says is his problem. |

Hahaha.
You can only rob the Isles of that 2nd goal for so long. Refs should have seen the G.I. on that goal. |

Colliton should have challenged that one. |

My feed is apparently about 5 minutes behind, but holy crap, can’t we get Anisimov off the ice tonight? Put ADB on that line already and open up the offense. |

Agree. Anisimov had 2-3 games where he was good when he came back from injury, but has been utterly useless since, yet is afforded 2nd line minutes.
Need Cat on that line w/ his former teammate and Kane. Does that line have ANY shots on goal tonight? |

Not sure it would have mattered. He was back outside the crease and Delia re-established position (unless I don’t completely understand the rule). |

Yeah.
M.M. in the box watching the play should help out. Maybe he didn't see it as interference..... |

Yep he was playing well and the call was pretty weak
Barzal also stuck his stick up Delia's butt no call, then
the goal

If that call is made on Forsling, then EVERY defender needs to be called for holding. How is that any different that what is going on in the NYI zone? |

Ill admit a couple iffy calls, but it's hard to female dog about the refs when you're getting outshot 30-16. The refs are not causing the drunkish play tonight. |

People complaining about the refs, so naturally the Master enters the fray. |

Yeah, hopefully there is a lot of pushback in the 3rd. |

I'd like to see this coach mix up the lines some, it's obvious whatever was going on in the first 40 didn't work, though they are still in it. |

Wake up K, the refs had to take a goal off the board (because it was the correct call), so they had to make it up somewhere. If you can't see that, then you are not watching close enough. |

I had the same thought as the period ended. Come out with a new look and just change it up. |

Agree. Also agree with your previous post on the iffy calls and being outshot. There's a bigger problem with their play. Kane hit the pipe and Lehner is looking good, plus Isles swallow nearly every rebound. It's easier to blame refs than always getting the favorable bounce. If that happens, then we wouldn't be chasing. |

Hawks, at times, have a good cycle going, but are unable to generate real attack pressure off that cycle as I just don't think the overall talent is quite there yet. Honestly, it could be 4-1 right now, Delia has been superb.
As far as calls, I pick my spots complaining about calls, because if that's ALL YOU DO (cough cough, Powerenforcer) then the complaint loses its impact. |

I think the Islanders have outworked the Hawks in all zones. They win the 50-50 pucks. |

Yeah. Hawks have shifts where they attack, but nothing sustained. Isles' defense looks great.
Sidenote, gotta love Granato.
Foley- how was that spectacular game in South Bend?
Granato- It was spectacular. |
