First Bryant, then Bell and now Brown...

Granted Martavius wasn't a big loss with how well JuJu has played

But wow

The Bills could use a guy like Brown (so could 27 other NFL teams, not counting Atlanta, NYG, Houston and Pittsburgh)

But I am not sure he sounds like a "process" type guy

- Stripes77

I might be dead wrong, but I think were going to hear a lot less about process with a franchise QB in place and money to spend.

This team traded for Kelvin's lazy ass for a playoff run, and they knew who he was.

The price tag to acquire a guy like Brown is probably insane.

Not too many teams have the ammo it would cost

Watch him end up a Raider

Raiders make sense. I don't think he would ever end up a Bill. But I just mean in general, I think the process stuff was lip service during a rebuild.

I'm not a McDermott fan, but I think when name a guy who was accused (Just accused I don't think he was guilty) of hiring someone to beat his ex up a team captain..... the whole process/culture thing falls on deaf ears

Exactly right where I have been for last 3 years.
I catch most games, but only for like a quarter...maybe a half.

Sabres, I try to catch all the games as much as I can....and for some I move my chair much closer!

- IonSabres

Yeah, just getting tough at this point watching them make the same mistakes over and over again...sometimes a different front office, but always the same mistakes.

When was the last time we had a #1 WR? When was the last time we had a threatening slot receiver?

Our OL dropped off the table because of the losses of Wood and Incognito. They need to be replaced, we need guys to catch the ball. How this isn't priority 1, 2 and 3...no clue.

And his agent...

I'd definitely take him for cheap. If I remember him right, he's pretty quick. Could help that middle6.

Watkins, Woods and Goodwin were a very good trio.

People really underestimated Whaley's ability to get talent. He just sucked at contracts

Sounds like the alcohol is kicking in!
You softening him up before the stealthy attack at KBC?

I couldn't resist

If Watkins could stay healthy he would still be a Bill

Woods was good here

Goodwin was hurt more than Watkins.

Thing Whaley screwed up was trading up for a WR when they didn't have a QB (and not having to trade up could have got OBJ)

Also giving out stupid contracts to undeserving players

I would say Watkins wasn't healthy enough to be a #1.

That trio was great though, you're right. I wasn't a fan of Goodwin, but he's certainly shown we weren't tapping his potential since he left.

Agreed, and it was dumb, but no one on the planet thought OBJ would be close to the player Watkins was supposed to be.

How were they good, they almost never played at the same time, Who was hurt more Watkins or Goodwin?? It not like either of them has done anything even to this day, I take woods over both of them.

This is spot on.

It isn't that Watkins was awful, but didn't play much due to his health, same with Goodwin. Woods should still be here IMO.

Whaley could evaluate talent, but couldn't do the math for re/signing afterwards.

Goodwin almost broke a thousand yards last year I believe.

Watkins isn't elite at any 1 facet in the game imo. Rarely broke tackles for big gains with the Bills, didn't have memorable huge plays. Factor in that Whaley traded up for him instead of snagging OBJ, and his career his was doomed

This can be said for many teams/players. Fact is they had a talented WR group

Imagine Allen with that talent, and factor in a decent O-line

He was a huge bust. Don't get me wrong, but the talent was there. That wonky foot cost him, but his attitude is what sealed the deal.

I'm just trying to stretch...when was the last #1 WR we had?

If not Sammy, then can't be SJ13. I mean if it is Moulds than let us go ahead and draft one early, huh?

Ya, woods was the guy I was disappointed with when he left. He could play and was a hell of a downfield blocker on run plays.

Playoffs. Without a doubt.

Our defense was playoff caliber this year. That offense and we'd be giving the Pats a run for the division IMO.
