Perlini having a great game, so i guess he's only earned 7 minutes of playing time? Didn't JC say playing minutes are earned? - BetweenTheDots
Keith and Anisimov both brutal on that play giving up the 2 on 0 breakaway.

Anisimov has been generally useless today. - kwolf68
But I bet he got more than 7 minutes |
|
|
|
Or bump Anisimov
For you goaltending experts, if Delia continued his play from past couple of games, would we be winning? I know it's a big "what if?"
ETA: Right before a great save by Ward. He is doing well this game, just wondered - pdx2ord
He's way more athletic and disciplined i believe he stops 2 out of 3 of those goals

Yeah, almost feels like he has a "Line 1 plays 18 min, Line 2 20 min, Line 3 15 min, Line 4 7 min" routine that he does vary from |

Yep, he's been out there way too much for my taste. Hasn't made a single good play that I can recall, fumbling the puck all over.
Great look by Kane. But no go |

only if a Bruin does it |

Glad this game is out of the way, wouldn't be surprised the minutes were dictated by the FO. Now we can see less of Ward and Seabrook |

Blackhawks 0 for the WC
1-5 all time in outdoor games

I wasn't expecting a win, but talk about horse mierda penalty calling. Definitely a few that should have been called. The Bergeron cross-check on Toews!?!? |

When do these juniors tournament end, i want to see moe of Joki and less of 7 |

It's really time to move Anisimov for futures and clear that cap space for FA this summer |

Good as the team has played lately, they for all intents and purposes LAST in the entire NHL.
36 points, LA has 35, StL 34, Ottawa 34, but the Hawks have played 2 more games than LA and Ottawa and 7 more games than St.Louis.
The only 'good thing' about losing games like this is it will clear up the goal of this year for the front office in that this is not a playoff team and will hopefully create urgency to start building for the future.
The quicker we can deal Anisimov the better Ill like it. Seabrook to the press box is another idea thats time has come. Also, anoint Delia starter from this point forward, Ward serves as backup/mentor. |

Generally hate the outdoor game. Thought this one was pretty cool though.
They are out of places for Hawks to play, so don't think we have to worry about playing in this for quite some time now. |

And what about the terrific saves Ward made that maybe Delia wouldn’t have?
Ward was good enough - the special teams weren’t. Success rate of 1 for 9 on both. |

Martinsen plays 4:14, Kruger 5:14 what’s the point. |

I know it, such a crock of poop. Martinsen and Perlini were playing well. This is early January game, you don't coach it like it's the Stanley Cup finals.

Why did AA get 20:13 TOI? That's crazy given his play. |

the hawks continue play well, ward was good...rask was better..
came down to 3rd and the bruins won that period and the game...
the improvement since late nov and early march has been significant...i hope it continues |

He was truly awful today. I don't know what this coach is thinking. His poor matchup play cost the Hawks this win, period. And the ice distribution is mind boggling. Playing guys 4 minutes? Why even bring them to the freaking rink? |

A large part of that coincides with Murphy getting healthy and Dahlstrom coming up. Both those guys have been solid.
Hawks still have a couple week D players in Seabrook and Forsling, but we do have 4 good ones, which is better than earlier in the season. Forsling was brutal today, almost as bad as Seabrook. |
