Digging Stromes game. Maybe Tanner was right about something......
Liking Kampfs game today as well. Kruger's replacement. - vabeachbear
Kampf does a lot of nice things out there but man is he slow... |

Hawks to pp. Going to start the next period on it. I don't expect much. |

Kampf should have drawn a penalty. Awful.
Chara has gotten away with two or three cross checks in the numbers, and Gusty gets called and the Bruins tie it. - Hawks_49
That should have been a penalty shot IMO. Lost the scoring chance because of the stick up around his hands. |

Absolutely. Veteran player getting a call. Maybe our vets have gotten some too, I admittedly watch with Hawks colored goggles |

Not sure I want Seabrook on the PK anymore. How many times are we going to see him not get into position quick enough only to have the puck in the back of the net? |

Yeah. Boston does have an elite first unit, but it shouldn't be so easy. |

I have to honestly assess that he should not be on the team next year unless he's a press box 7th D like Rozy was for us |

Great guy, warrior, but has been done for over a year now. This is going to be a huge decision JC is going to have to make when Henri comes back. WHAT D-man are we watching on this current team should take the seat? It's pretty clear it's Seabrook. |

I finally have to agree. My love for Seabs has been stopping me from admitting it, but he's just lost it. He lost it very quickly. Too many hard miles for a true warrior. |

That was a soft back handed goal.
I really hope the next cba we can buy 7s contract out, can't wait for Joki to come back
My money says FO told JC Ward wil start today |

Entertaining game. The outdoor format could attract new fans. The NHL should schedule another national game to start right after this one ends to try and keep the new viewers interested. |

No doubt the GMs will be begging their owners to have that as part of the CBA. |

As far as Seabs getting off the pp, I agree. He has a booming shot, but he isn't helping. |

chara has made a career of cheap crosscheck and slashes...
very good period for the hawks...i though they controlled the play until the late pp bruin goal...
the difference so far is the pp: bruins 2-2 and the hawks 0-3... |

Yep, Seabs was never fast, but had enough speed to combine with his smarts and instincts to be a great D-man early in his career and then a useful one a bit later. But once his little bit of speed he had left him in this new-age NHL he just provides nothing on the ice. Watching him lumber side to side while trying to kill penalties is a hapless exercise. At best right now he's a bottom pairing minutes eater who should never play against other teams top 6 or on the PK. He could be of some use as a 2nd level PP QB, but that's all he has left anymore (a good point shot). |
