I've always wondered about how Major league teams in the NHL could take on a public ownership model where the public has a stake in the say of the direction of the team?

The Packers in the NFL and a few soccer teams in Canada and England follow such a model.

I think Caggiula should be gone and the way I fantasise about it is Macdavid 1, Drai 2, Nuge 3, I hope caggiula is gone sooner than later, I will never justify top six time for that idiot.

Well, aside from Caggiula, it's the closest and best approximation of an optimized, 3C-deep attack as the team can achieve with this roster. I have no qualms with trying it given how poorly the team has played lately.

Let me guess, Caggiula stays in the top-6 and Draisaitl got moved back to C, probably with Lucic? I heard Jones is with Larsson now which is hard to determine whether it's a demotion for Nurse and a promotion for Jones or a demotion for Larsson and a promotion of Russell. Either way, I like that move. Makes sense to try to get Larsson and Nurse away from one another as it's clear they're not "going" like they were last year.

I didn’t catch it before your edit.....Jones and Larsson are the second pair with Nurse and Russell as the 1st.....Gravel and Benning to round it out.....I’m thinking Larsson is just playing too many minutes and it’s catching up....but Hitch certainly took a blender to most of the line up

It doesn't help that not only is Manning struggling to crack the Blackhawks D (maybe the worst in the league), he's also McDavid's enemy, he has been maybe the worst Dman in the league this year (no exaggeration there, either) AND has another year at 2.25mil If this is reality, I can't imagine a world where Chiarelli shouldn't be immediately fired.

I can’t explain it except multiple Edmonton guys are saying the trades aren’t done yet....could be a very busy week for the Oilers....just depends on how it all shakes out

I’m literally loling right now....not only do we surround Connor with poop besides Drai and Nuge but now we are bringing in the guy that intentionally injured him during his rookie year? This is unbelievable just as I think Chia hits bottom he is going out of his way to show that it can get worse

I looked into this a bit further and apparently, as a stockholder of the team, you vote for which directors (form an official board, of whom are in charge of making decisions such as player acquisition) you want in charge every few years.

The way I see it, it is described as a system of representation.
