I'm not prepared to take the title from Crosby. I also prefer to rank based on positions considering how different a game Cs play from Ws. Kucherov is definitely the best winger with guys like Ovi, Rantanen, Gaudreau, Giroux, Kane, Panarin, Hall and Marner falling in behind him.

Eriksson was trash after going to Boston. Smith is fine. Morrow is crap. I think for how amazeballs Seguin was/is, he should’ve gotten a lot better package.

All. The problem was the d not getting the puck to McDavid and Drai. Chia solves this by eliminating all other forwards from the team. Now there are only d to go with McDavid and Drai. This is progressive thinking at its finest.

Eriksson is absolutely a servicable NHL player. He does a lot of little things really well, and is pretty reliable on his side of the puck.

However, that particular skill set combined with his offensive output should maybe pay him half. And that could be generous.

Im hating less on him this year because the entire team is playing so much better around him
