Farabee was one the smoothest skaters on the ice. Puck skills and skating dont change because you're playing inferior competition. I was more impressed with him than frost so far. Frost has had a good tournament but Farabee just makes things look effortless. And cates looks like a pit bull who works every second hes on the ice. St ivany, o'Brien looked like works in progress as are all these kids. I would absolutely be excited for our kids showing up on the biggest stage of their young careers.

I would trade an awful lot for benn. Since 2013 he has missed 6 games due to injury. Hes scored 34+ goals in 4 of his last 5 seasons. This year hes playing "like horsepoop" and has 15 and 15 and a +6. His cap hit is only 9.5 million. Him and Giroux on the same line (yes this move leaves g at center longer) might be one the most elite combos in the game up there with Stamkos kucherov. Name a price I'll likely match it.

Florida missing Bjugstad, Trocheck, and MacKenzie helps a bit, but their first line and Lu are fully capable of beating the Flyers if they don’t bring their A game. Road trips to Tampa/Miami are always tough for this team.

Yes they are. Overall I was happy with the effort vs Tampa. That's an elite team which should come out of the east this year. Need a similar effort tonight vs flo Rida.

I've seen a few different sources saying fletcher primary focus on dealing simmer and acquiring a top 4 d man as he hasn't liked the goalie market.

Any one have anything credible about it ? Simmer keeps linking to Boston but I'd hate to trade him to a team were chasing.

I think its credible. No point and adding a goalie. Hart is doing good, Elliott will be back soon. Stolarz is another solid option once he is healthy. Question really comes down to what happens when Elliot is healthy. Does Neuvirth get sent down or Hart?

I would deal Simmonds to anyone. I am not a fan of him. To me he is a glorified 3rd line player who makes good use of his PP time. The reality of it is we get a Top 4 Dman and not have to play AMac or Folin is benefit enough. AMac can be a solid Dman but his inconsistency is off the chart. Plays good one year, awful the next, good the year after and awful again the next. We need to deal him now before he comes and has another good year next season and gets re-signed

Yeah I would prefer someone low cost. Maybe Martinez. For simmer I think the goal was jvr upgraded that role. So trade him to the highest bidder. And than I hope this off season we upgrade on Jake with stone or panarin than do the same thing with Jake. Trade him.to the highest bidder.

I dont know Hamilton seems to be in the dog house. For a guy who was the top D in CGY he seems like a huge step back to be CAR 3rd pair guy and 2nd PP unit behind Faulk
