I dont understand how a team with so much talent has 0 defensive awareness. Its the same thing every time multiple players skating around lost while the other team cycles. Simmonds does not deserve to play.

I think simmer is gone at the deadline. Jake part of a larger trade at the draft that hopefully changes the makeup of this team. Just please don't piss away the solid prospects on the way in the hopes of going for it all next year. Wait til we really have a team before going for it.

That is the exact time a winger needs to cover for Coots, he was caught down deep. Simmonds was the man back and absolutely made no effort to cover his man. I dont even think he has the awareness to know there was a guy right in front of him.

If fletch is the epic wheeler dealer that homer thinks he is, he's got to come up with this type of smart big splash to change things up. Im the biggest fan of the team but I'm getting sick of this.

My dream is that they move Jake+ to get Benn, trade Simmonds for picks and move JVR to any team dumb enough to take him. Then with ample cap space, go out and sign Stone.

Soft as a marshmellow these days, all the effort of a sloth in a tree waiting all day for some leaves to be fed to him. Simmonds coasted into the zone bent over looking at the play maybe with his stick over his hips resting...a pox on him. He saw the guy in front of him and watched like a fan in the stands..No mojo, minimal effort all stupid plays with the puck..

On to the kids hopefully it's more enjoyable
