Not only did blackwood become the only devils rookie goalie with back to back shutouts, the last rookie to do so was John Gibson.....who recorded consecutive shutouts on December 29th and 31at in 2015......crazy same dates

That is an awesome stat! That being said, he really wasn't challenged. Would like to see more. All Vancouver did was pass it around like they were team Brazil and barely got a shot off that he couldn't see. On the other hand, Nilsson sucked. 3rd and 4th goal anyone should've stopped. Happy Boyle got one. Devs played a pretty solid game from what I saw. I was at the game and going to watch again tomorrow. Good luck!

When you have excellent positioning it makes it look like all easy saves. The fact he wasn't flopping around is a sign of something good.

I cant believe its hawks vs Bruins with this winter classic. Like enough already. How bout some more exciting teams like Tampa, Toronto, Colorado, even Winnipeg or Calgary. I guess they want it to be between 2 teams where the fanbase is relatively nearby so they can sell out the venue.

I'm game. The good thing is its not like your chances go up all that much of getting the top pick of u finish last vs 25th. Hope our boys continue to develop this year. Next year should be fun.
