The guys are playing much better at this point in the season than I thought they'd be playing a few weeks ago. Wow. Great turnaround! I have to say, the early returns are that Stan won the Strome - Schmaltz trade. Murphy and Dahlstrom have helped a ton on the blue line. Forsling has chipped in too. There is some hope for the future.

It was a win of a first period, from there the guys got it together. Delia was peppered with a lot of shots.

saved 46 of 48 - wow!

JC is spreading out the TOI for the Dmen. Gus with the most at 21 but 4 and a half of that was on the PP. Forsling with the least at 16. But JC really relies heavily on Toews and Kane, both had over 21 minutes on the ice tonight. I don't really mind, I like watching them play and they're both playing well. Won 4 out of last 5, pretty good!

The D ice-time was pretty balanced.

Gus 21 minutes
Murphy 20.5 minutes
Keith 20 minutes
Dahlstrom 20 minutes
Seabrook 18 minutes
Forsling 16 minutes

The improvement has definitely come from the back end. Less mistakes and keeping the chances to the outside a bit more.

Don't agree. They still got out played in total. If Ward's in the net we could have been down 3 or 4 - 1 after 1 period. And Dud was awful for them. Total goalie win. Delia looks great.

Encouraged by the recent wins. I like where the Blackhawks are right now, fully capable of defeating the 5th place teams. That is a first step to recovering. Might be too late to make the playoffs this year but would like to see them playing like a playoff team at the end while still selling at the deadline.

If Anisimov, Kruger, Martinsen, Kunitz, Manning, Davidson, and maybe even Magic Gus (for the right price) are moved, there can be some audition spots for Rockford guys while still trying to sneak in to the playoffs.

The team has gotten very young (including the coach) and needs experience winning even at the expense of a great top 5 pick.

They should ride Delia for a while.

again since the beginning the year I have called delia the hawks 2020 starter, i pushed that up to sometime in 2019 when craw went went down

he is not not in the mold of the big goalie every team wants but he is technically strong, quick, athletic and tracks the puck really well...

he should get next game vs the aves
