I don't know why this isn't the second line every game. That PP goal against Col showed why Kane and ADB should ALWAYS be on the same line!

Agree. I would ice DeBrincat with Strome and Kane and build that as your top offensive line moving forward. Anisimov does have some chemistry on that line but DeBrincat would make them electric.

If Anisimov is playing LW with Kane and Strome, then why not have him play LW with Kampf and Sikura.

Yeah, JC's deployment of DeBrincat, including his comparatively limited minutes (behind 8 other forwards one of the TV guys said the other night), is a headscratcher.

Agree...I think ADB is the second best wing on the team. How can JC play him on the 3rd line every night?!

maybe later but right now Kane is doing well with his line mates and DeBrincat is hot as well, albeit some of his goals coming on the PP.

He's probably looking for balance. The third line wouldn't have much going on otherwise. Also, the downside to a line of 12-17-88 is their tendency to get pinned in their own zone for long stretches.

Yeah, having DeBrincat on the 3rd line with Sikura and Kampf isn't necessarily a bad thing. He's still collecting goals and getting PP time. And it's not like Kane and Strome are struggling without DeBrincat.

Having Strome centering Kane and DeBrincat would be ideal but I can live with them split up the way they are for now. The focus should be on another top 6 winger to play with Saad and Toews. While I like Kahun, don't think he's a 1st line winger.

Another focus is 3C. Kampf is fine for now but is slotted one line too high. Anisimov could be that 3C but the team could possibly do better but that would necessitate sufficient trades and signings to happen between now and the summer.
