Whatever that OT was, gotta say I was not expecting this team to battle back in the 3rd. Obviously a win would've been nice, but it would've taken a miracle to win against tampa in OT.

Overall, I'm pretty impressed with how Scott Gordon has been coaching. Still stuff to clean up, but they're back on the right track.

Yes, that was a bad play on his part. He has no reason to be that deep in the crease. Neuvirth knocked him down.

It's not dumb. The puck was on edge and in a dangerous area. He tried to swipe to the boards and out of danger. It happens.

How many defenseman on the Flyers can cover two men at once? MacDonald had the most dangerous guy on the ice, Kucherov who had the puck, marked. Lucky bounce off of Johnson for the goal. Not MacDonald's fault. Numerous teammates were standing around. The cross ice pass from Stamkos should've been prevented. Gudas over rotated to a guy who was already covered but he wouldn't have been able to stop the lucky bounce.

MacDonald held his own all game in 5 on 5 ice time against Lightning top players such as Kucherov and Point. He made his share of good plays also such as breaking up a mini two on one that would've been a sure goal early in the game.

Just watched the game..

The Giroux goal is as good as anything I have seen in years.
Coots had some bad turnovers tonight.
Provy looked like Provy.
That Giroux turnover in OT was bad.
