It's not quite that easy - Spotify isn't free.

Well, there's a 'free' version, but you get an ad every third song, and the audio quality sucks. They do have a promotion where you can get three months for 99 cents, so you'll want to do that. You can cancel whenever, or decide to keep it.

It's an American thing, they just don't give a damn about Canada. There is a bit of anger in Raptorland about the lack of a Christmas game in Toronto, but that will never happen. Games broadcast nationally in the US are always Raptor away games, apparently it's 'too expensive' to produce a national game in Toronto. It isn't true, just more evidence of the cultural bias.

To be honest though, there's about 4 guys who would all make good candidates as captain - Auston (star player), JT (hometown vet), Rielly (paid his dues) and Marner (hometown wonderkid, media loves him) for sure, and I'm sure that the case could be made for a couple of others, at least on a short-term basis.

Isn't this such a good place to be in given where we were a few years back?

Not mandatory, but I would - especially if just shinny, as you never know where a puck is gonna fly. One prof at my grad school showed up one day with a couple of deadly black eyes and several teeth missing - he got hit in the nose by a flying puck, then lost his teeth as he hit the ice face first. Hooray for reconstructive surgery!!!

Thanks Lums. I'm not sure if we will have enough people out there to get some decent shinny going on but I'm hoping. If not it'll just be skating around shooting pucks. Will be fun to just get out there and do that, been awhile for me.
