thanks man, should be a good one. Don't know any of the slovak players, but plenty of Fins to keep an eye on. Will be nice to see what future Canuck Kakko plays like

Awe man, have some faith, we might not pick 4ov.

That sucks.

Christmas morning my cousins 6 year old ran a high fever and had a febrile seizure. She's a little bit old to have one but the doctor thinks there will be no long term effects.

I was watching the game with an agent and scout last night...they both agreed this is a pretty weak draft. Interestingly they also said next draft is pretty soft

Its always a debate, especially at the youth level, but even at the pro level teams rarely put more than 8 or so on the boatd..even if they can...It's sportsmanship as well as just bad hockey Karma...

Alot of my Canadian friends today are saying they are embarrassed by Canada's 14 spot put up last night in the Worlds...

What say you?

Maybe choose synchronized swimming instead of hockey.

I had heard the above about 2020/2021 draft, but I thought this upcoming draft was pretty deep from different articles that I have read. I am excited to see these kids live, tons of future NHL talent on team Finland.

What is an acceptable amount of goals to score against a weaker opponent?

What I posted in EK's blog:

"1) Goal differential actually matters in this tournament
2) These kids are trying to make a name for themselves, scouts are watching
3) These kids on the losing side will get over it."

Canada completely let off the gas pedal IMO in the third and were still scoring. Its just a vastly superior talented team vs a team that doesn't have nearly as much talent. Canada could have had 20. I honestly think people are too worried about these kids feelings. They will get over it.

Feeling? Kiss my ass. That's sports. They aren't 8 to 12 year olds.

Mercy rule should be implemented.

Up by ten at the end of the first period, game over, up by five after the second period, gagne over.

IMO, didn't care what the score was. They stopped celebrating after goal 7 or something. Not going to just quit playing.
