Watching Kakko. Right now, TG would have him in Utica for at least a year or two.

I will waive the pom poms but I like Horvat Pettersson Hughes and Boeser up against them

Had to go check the stats to see how sabres players were doing....Sam Reinhart is a point per game player....wow ...when did this happen

You can’t really have too many at the Ahl level, some of those won’t pan out. Mac looks like he will. The issue will be his health/durability. See what a top-end med staff thinks of that shoulder. Could go either way

I still think he has earned a look. He could or someone else could be traded later.

He pretty underrated, but also plays with one of this years Hart trophy finalists. Eichel is up there in the underrated player list, still think Barkov is number one though

Madden is a nice story but he is years away and about 4-6 on the depth chart.

Madden and the Russian midget as well. plus Brock Leivo and Jake, as well as Lockwood.
On the Left we have Dahlen and Gadjovich.

Oh I thought we were talking Lockwood (right wing, not center). I like Madden. Too early to see what we have but similar trajectory as Gaudette right now.

I am not sure what will happen with Lockwood , no prediction. I never hear Benning mentioning him. He is one guy I could see going to Free Agency

I like Mac, meh on the other two. Not saying they'll both amount to nothing, but at this point their odds to become legit NHL'ers are definitely less than 50%. Same with Lockwood, but that's exactly why you want another lottery ticket.

That would help I guess

I’m pretty high on Eichel ...he’s really really good

I dunno what it is but this year feels like a point a game isn’t what is was a few years ago ...

We have less left wings, but you seem to be talking Utica for lefties and combining NHL/Utica/other for righties a bit unfairly.

Baertschi
Granlund
Jake
Goldy
Roussel

All play left or both wings

My prediction is at TDL ZacMac gets called up and plays RW with Bo and JV

The goals per game have stayed high, goalie gear change really seems to have done something I think.

The increase in overall scoring league-wide has definitely given some guys some prettier looking stats than they would have had a couple years back. Kind of hard to judge numbers accurately while the league is still in transition

I hope Benning doesn't wait until TDL to rid the team of some of these players and we see Zacmac by end of January.👍

I've noticed watching some games that you'll see goalies have a bigger gap over the shoulder and under the arm when hugging the posts. I might be imagining it but sharp angle shots seem to be going in more often

Wasn't old Smitty one of the loudest complainers about the goalie equipment being reduced? I wonder if that's tied to his struggles at all.

Not only that, it seems like there's been a mini resurgence of point blank snipes going in. I remember watching Naslund and Sakic sniping as a young kid, that's what got me into hockey.

Or maybe it's just because we have EP/Brock on the team and we're not used to having players like that

I think if a player is a point per game I’m still impressed ...,but I’m starting to think comparing what players are doing this year vs 5-10 years ago might not be a good comparable
