Sam had shown success with Jack in the past

Another brutal argument by you

- jdfitz77

So how did Sam end up with Jack in the first place?

Because he won a contest? How did he “earn” it his rookie year?

He has talent, so they put him with talent.

It’s quite simple, but your hate of the trade clouds your judgment yet again

It’s just so blatantly obvious that he’s rooting against Thompson to succeed.

I just find it ironic because I was blasted here for doing the same thing with Kane/O’Reilly/Lehner etc.

I don’t think Thompson is great, but outside of the top line, the top 6 potential in the lineup is Mittelstadt and Thompson, the end. They should be given chances to use their talent

- sbroads24

I literally said to try Thompson with Jack
I’m not rooting against him,
Just don’t think he’s good

I also said Thompson absolutely doesn’t belong on line4

Not surprised u can’t tell the difference though
You clearly have selective comprehension

You’re so transparent it’s not even funny.

I mean it’s all well and good, I just love it considering how much poop you have given me over hating Kane.

My judgement isn’t clouded
We traded for slower players who aren’t scoring
That’s the bottom line

How u continue to defend the play of these guys is ridiculous

Tell me more about Berglund’s 4th line Corsi stats please

It’s not even remotely close

Case in point.

We’re talking about Thompson, a former first rounder with a ton of talent, and you bring up Berglund.

Transparent as it gets.

Even if it wasn’t specifically Armia,
u argued for that type of player on numerous occasions

Hey... who’s Pouliot playing for this year?
Pity we didn’t re-sign him like u wanted
Maybe he could get Thompson going...

https://thehockeywriters....6-draft-prospect-profile/

Currently listed at 6-foot-5, Thompson has the size to be an intimidating figure on the ice. The figure and build of a power forward, he has a lot more upside when it comes to his offensive skill and stick handling. He’s been called for just six minor penalties this season which is a plus when a player is that big and plays the physical game.

I’m sure you know more than Peyton Manning...I mean NHL scouts
