Hes a top 6 forward. But to say hes any more important to the teams success then Eichel, Dahlin, Skinner, Risto and Hutton/Ullmark would be false. Im sorry to expect more out of a 2nd overall pick. Good player, but can be replaced if the circumstances present themselves that we need the cap space. Unless he can become the 2nd line C and Mitts becomes the expendable guy but that remains to be seen.

I believe a lot of the locker room stuff was overblown
And that kinda stuff is a product of the losing, not the other way around
And those locker room issues generally disappear when you’re winning
