Nice that they protected the middle pretty well and didn't sit back on the lead. Dallas was pushing and the Hawks kept getting their chances and stuck with it. Good game. I dunno what Cam Ward said, but it looks like the team is engaged. |

A smart play to just push the puck up ahead of everybody where he could just beat everyone to the puck and take it in well ahead of the two defenders

His speed is electric. Not sure he has the overall game to take advantage of that, but goddamn he's fast. |

well bottom dweller or not its really nice to see this team playing alot better: fewer unforced errors, better puck management, getting leads and holding them, ward has been excellent...

Actually look like they are figuring out how not to give up the middle of the ice finally. Forwards really helping up the middle.
Sikura looked good. Wish he was a bit bigger than 160lbs. Kind of reminds me of TT with less hands but goes into the dirty areas a bit more. |

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn’t this what you could call a “win streak?” Given the ways the hawks had been playing up until 5 or 6 games ago, they have been playing much better and putting out more consistent effort throughout the game.
Sure think it helps not giving up one or two goals in the first couple minutes of the game. Team seems to be playing with more confidence, too. |

He looks like a guy who will be better next year, IMO. He has speed and hands, but I feel like he isn't comfortable out there yet. Still, I like the little play he made on that first goal and that speed he showed to end the game was nice. |

His "get your [bleep] together!" speech after the Sharks game might have been worth every penny he's being paid. Seems it might have been the turning point at least in the attitude and effort department. |

More replays of that elbow to Murphy. 100% intentional. Can’t believe that goes uncalled.
Jamal Meyers even said post game it was blatantly intentional. |

I think the net is Ward's to lose. He's playing great, and the guys in front of him are playing great. Even if all the other teams play with intent to injure. I see Ward playing tomorrow, but I could be wrong. |
