Totally agree. But Gus is a liability on defense. You want to maximize his offensive potential, while limiting his defensive short comings. - tompo1015
@MarkLazerus
Jeremy Colliton on Erik Gustafsson: "He's always had the ability. He continues to battle the puck decisions, engagement defensively. He's got the world at his feet if he wants, as far as his ability to contribute in this league at a high level. It's raising the minimum level that he plays at. If he does that then he can be a top player on top teams." |

Saad is fun to watch on the pk. 2 great chances. - I Am The Breadman
Thought he got held on the second attempt. Sure looked like the defender had his arm around Saad.

Perlini has looked good this game, but all have been welcome additions.
Strome blocked shot, wide open net. - I Am The Breadman
I should add Johnson to the list too. Forsling was missed at the beginning of the season as well. These are all young guys playing well. Bodes well. |

2-0, a powerplay that actually had some power.
For all the crap we give Gus on defense, he looks good on the PP - kwolf68

Good one Bread in the D - TrueGrit
Ha! Sorry, didn't read some of the previous. I do have seniority here over Bread though. Shouldn't I be allowed to steal his attempts at humor like when grandpa farts at the dinner table and everyone else pretends not to notice or someone blames it on the dog.
I'm sure my delivery was better anyway...stupid Breadman. |

Agree. Other teams still are able to carry possession and a strong cycle game really hurts out defense, because our D-men either lack foot speed or they are soft.
That said, the all out shooting gallery, 2 on 0 breakaways have vanished. I think Murph and Dahly have helped there, the team has been a bit better since those two guys have settled in. - kwolf68
Couldn’t agree more about Murphy and Dahlstrom. They seem to be comfortable together and relatively error-free. |

Good Hawks response after the Stars goal. A key thing to notice. You know the Stars will push back, Hawks have resisted, thinking we are not gonna be stuck on 3 tonight. |

Way to end your question with a period. And you say I'm stupid. Hahaha!
Can we trade Big D for 2 second round picks? Kimmo was worth that, and he was a geezer. |

One of the biggest differences this year, with a few notable exceptions like the Sharks game. The team's level of give-a-poop and consistent effort is much higher. Nice to see. |

LOL, go figure. I actually like Graffin's solo stuff he did about 6 or 7 years ago.
I do know they play lots of Pantera in Dallas since Vinnie and Dime were big Stars fans. When the Stars won the Cup in 99, they threw it off Vinnie Paul's balcony into the pool but missed and supposedly it got pretty badly damaged. |

Not sure, he's just driving hard. Can't say definitively he ran Dahls. Hoping our kid is ok. |

Hate to potentially lose Dahlstrom. He's been playing very well. |
