Same and agree. Was supposed to go see her, Heart and Cheap Trick a couple years ago up here but unfortunately got sick that weekend. Seen Cheap Trick a bunch...love them. Favorite IL band. Never saw Heart or Joan Jett so that could have been good. Oh well.
Really one of the few bands I have a chub to see live is Muse. They're here sometime next year...might need to go. - HawkintheD
Speaking of Il bands, another one that was highly underrated was Off Broadway. Yes, they were a fix at ChicagoFests, but they had a very tight sound. |

No, he wasn't kidding. They did the whole album, well other people did, Zander didn't sing all of them. His voice can't do that anymore. I still like the band, just care for him less. Nielson is a cool guy. - I Am The Breadman
Part owner of Piece, my favorite pizza place in Chicago. When you look like Rick and Bun you're forced to develop other skills which could make them better guys than Robin...just a theory. Heard Tom Peterson on Steve Dahl years ago and he sounded like a decent guy too...but you never know. |

Gus obsession is a psychological disorder. While he is fair game for criticism he receives a disproportionate amount, as any honest assessment of a game will show he makes no more mistakes than Keith and Joki and Seabrook is in a class by himself.
Whatever deficiencies he does have are made up by his ability to create and support the play offensively. It is not by accident he is on the ice with Kane a lot. He will continue to grow and become more efficient in his own end, shrinking the gap between him and other defensemen, however, none of them have his upside offensively. - TrueGrit
Please - Gus is not going to “become more efficient in his own end.” Gus is not 19. Whatever it is Gus is he is. Gus has shown that he clearly does not have the hockey IQ to become a complete player - or if he in fact has the hockey IQ he refuses to use it. Trade Gus immedietely while some team might bite on his present offence as if, and more likely when, the offence dries up he will be untradeable.
To attempt to spin Gus’s mistakes as if they don’t crush the team is ludicrous. There is no other D-Men on the team that would have made such a series of terrible decisions at the end of the First Period. It was as if Gus had no idea how much time was left and that under no circumstances should he throw the puck into traffic along the far boards. Get to center and dump the puck deep - period over.
I don’t care at all about Gus’s offence because he is simply such a huge liability defensively.

Technically that was the first concert I ever saw as they were opening act along with Blackfoot for headliner UFO at the Amphitheater in 1980. |

Not entirely wrong, Pannozo Brothers on 30 in the Heights are the same owners who owned Pannozzo Brothers Funeral home on 115th in Pullman back in the 60's. I had relatives waked there, and they are relatives of the Pannozzo's in the band Styx. |

All of them I like, just Zander is too much. I get the ego to perform in front of fans, interacting, and get them going ... he's one where it went to his head, I think. Haha on their looks, nice. Bun's got back problems, hasn't been with them for a long time. I think Nielson's son is the drummer now. Peterson's son might be in the band too, don't quote me on that. |

Love to pry Kapinen from Toronto for the D help they need - Colbyboy
Toronto will have a tough time keeping him after they sign Marner and Mathews. I think if they wanted to swap Keith's cap hit will Gardiner then it could work. |

I don't think Dubas would do that deal imo
It would also put them in a worse spot cap wise next season
Apparently Carolina want Kapanen quite badly? |

Do you or does anyone else know Kapinen's contract status and what kind of yearly salary he's looking for? Keith with Sikura as a sweetener might get it done if Kap is looking for $6.5M or more. - Dieselhead
Why are the Hawks adding a sweetener? Especially for a guy with 32 points in 89 games? And on a team that has some cap trouble looming.
Also, I highly doubt anyone would sign him for 6.5 at this point of his career. |

You know what smart guy?
I prefaced everything mentioned about Berglund with the condition if considered that due diligence would be done. But I guess you don’t read much.
Further, there are a LOT of players out there that are better than the amateur hour guys that get trotted out night after night on ths team in the name of “developing” them.
Most of them are not and will not be NHL level players.
At some point, the team has to be competitive and watchable. - Return of the Roar
Do you not get it would be incredibly dumb to waste time and any cap space on a guy who quit on his team because he pouted?
And if the team was only competitive you still would be clamoring over poopty players cause, well, you know, its what you have done for years EVEN when the team was in Cup contention. |

Keith is from Western Canada. He wouldn't waive to go to Toronto. Calgary, Edmonton or Vancouver he would waive to be closer to his kid. |

Great game on NSCSN, PIT vs WSH. These teams don't like each other.
Wilson already with a TKO in the 1st minute. Lots of other chippiness too. - boilermaker100
Correct. ..great game.
The way these 2 teams clear out the front if their nets is incredible. I've seen more cross checking and physical abuse on PP's in one period than I've seen in 3 years of Hawk defensemen. It's no wonder CC is involved in another concussion. Either our system is to play sissy no-check hockey or our dmen are afraid of contact in front of our goalies.
THIS has got to change Blackhawks. Toughen up !! |

Yeah. Could see Edmonton being a fit. Him and Lucic on the books at the same time would be something. Don't think Calgary would bother. Would be fun for Vancouver to go after him. |

AGAIN.....that is totally incorrect . Please STOP giving out WRONG information. The Funeral Panozzo families are NOT related to John (RIP) and Chuck Panozzo from Styx. I was born and raised in Roseland and am close friends with the family.
