I have no way of knowing if his agent was asked to supply a list or what requirements regarding the list were spelled out in his contract.

I prefaced everything mentioned about Berglund with the condition if considered that due diligence would be done. But I guess you don’t read much.

Further, there are a LOT of players out there that are better than the amateur hour guys that get trotted out night after night on ths team in the name of “developing” them.

Most of them are not and will not be NHL level players.

At some point, the team has to be competitive and watchable.

Heart is okay in my book, they did a kick-ass cover of Stairway at the Kennedy Center a few years back. It brought the Cowardly Lion, Robert Plant, to tears.

Cheap Trick, I saw them at a triple play thing in New Lenox. They put on a great show. Robin Zander is a douche though. They did a show of Sgt. Pepper, and Zander says, "Yeah, I listened to it once, wasn't really impressed with it." The greatest album of all time!? Okay, dude. You were popular in Japan, not the US. You only got popular with The Flame. Sissy song.

When this team was great and chock full of all stars, people were on here pining for even more all stars though the Cap wouldn't permit, or in a lot of cases, just other guys, because you know...TRADES!

The team was more than competitive and watchable then, but trades were needed to keep things interesting.

I suppose at least the team is actually as poopty as all the would be Boy Who Cried Wolf's have been screaming about for the last 7-8 years.

No, he wasn't kidding. Cheap Trick wanted to honor them, so he went along with it. He likes other Beatle albums better, which is totally fine, but his immediate response was ridiculous. They did the whole album, well other people did, Zander didn't sing all of them. His voice can't do that anymore. I still like the band, just care for him less. Nielson is a cool guy.
