except the 1st overall pick is yet again not a generational player, supposedly. Would much rather have Crosby-Malkin than 2nd tier-2nd tier centers for the future. If you're finally in a position to get a 1st overall, or top 5 overall.. it would be nice if a franchise player would be there.. at least one of the times..

The best part is that I missed the game.

Well, I tuned in with a two minutes left in the 2nd period and saw them give up the goal right before the buzzer. That was enough and I went food shopping. What a spanking.

Want to really get sad. We have nothing to trade that would be a future building blocks. The assets we can trade that we will not miss will only bring back 3rd rounders or worse. Seriously we need a top 3 pick to help this team and that means we will suffer for a few more years...unless we can get anything in free agency, which has never been kind to the devs.
