I'd sign him if it's little or no raise and ideally keep him on the 4th line. I don't get the Raffl hate in here sometimes. - FlyerFan16
I like Raffl, I just think it might be time to give one of the kids a chance. Cheaper and most likely similar output situation. Raffl has trade value also. |

I think bringing the kid up for this game got the team out of their own heads. They stopped thinking about themselves and concentrated on helping get Hart through his first game. It’s hard not to be excited for that Opie-looking kid. - Dkos
Yes, his smile is contagious. 😊 |

I love all the hate he gets but yet he's a fourth liner that can move up the lineup when needed and also is one of the two guys who's helped the PK recently. To me he's worth the current money he gets. - dragonoffrost
Raffl is tradable if we are outside a playoff spot. - NC Flyers Fan
I look at Raffl as that unsung guy in the playoffs that performs well when the team is rolling through the rounds that other teams want then signs with another team as UFA for more than he is worth.
He is very useful in my opinion, with the right expectations. |

Yeah idk how high other teams will go. Coyle could get over valued as a deadline acquisition. Hes a solid 3rd liner with fringe 2nd line moments and streaks. But I'd be okay with that trade. Cant have room for every single prospect. Coyle is also young enough he could be around for a while. Fill the raffl role when another kid comes up. - Tfaehner
I think he could be a 30 goal guy in the right situation, kind of like Kreider, but not as fast. |

This is spot on. I just hope they continue it. They've played a few good games this year just to get railed the next game. Hopefully they reset themselves. |

Raffl is a guy who can play on all 4 lines. Always shows up. Is hard to knock off pucks. Quietly does his job no matter what is asked of him. Great locker room guy.
We learned this year it's not fair to put everything on the kids. 2 years 3.5 million - 4 million I'd bring him back without hesitation. A kid on a 950k elc isn't a huge cap savings. Lehtera weise weal simmer likely won't be here. We have room in the bottom 6 for vets. Raffl would be an ideal one. |

Other seasons hes certainly shown it. Having a down year this one. But could be a lot of factors going into that. At only 26 hes absolutely a shot I'd love to take |

I agree, only one game. The team still has decent way to go before the ship is truly turned around. Consistency is the key. |

replace Lehtera, Weal, Weise and Varone with the kids before replacing Raffl. There is plenty of places to give some kids a chance next year.

If Raffl is the guy filling that depth spot or 13th forward then this team is in a pretty good position. |

I will say this about Hakstol...the way he wanted to play, he didn't have the right players needed to play it. - Glak18

I want Hart to dominate but also for us to be in a position to sell Simmonds at the deadline. |

Which is funny because Laughton and Raffl are pretty good friends on the team. |
