Yep. Let's see how they do against Nashville. - FlyerFan16
Expectations are low, but if you want to be the best gotta beat the best. |

Even talking to Taryn he towered over her. He's as tall as me, that's not tall. |

I’ve been to 8-9 games this year and tonight was the most packed and loudest so far this season. Felt like an actual home game. Chants were occurring and people seemed genuinely interested. - arichardson22
You could hear it on television. They cheered every thing he did
That won’t last, of course. But there’s this component of entertainment that can’t drive what you do, but sometimes, you gotta throw the paying customers a bone

I think 6'2" looks taller on skates. Plus, camera angles. The camera man for the locker room interview mist have been 5'6" lol |

I swear Hextall and Hakstol were hated in the building. Even the post game crew seems different. |

I'll live with a loss if they put in the effort they did tonight. I know it's the Wings but if they play like this most nights, they're a different team then they have been so far this year. That last road trip was completely embarrassing and it's not all on the coach. |

I have read a lot of material over the years about the Flyers, and we all have seen them go through coaches. Not winning enough means negative fan reactions
But I have to admit, I have always been surprised at how much some people hated Hakstol

Hey Taryn, how many did the kid give up tonight?
GO FLYERS! |
|
|
|
Hope: Sold
Hart was good enough, not sure there were any 10-bell saves but there weren’t any horrific goals
Hextall did so many good things, and a lot of what happened is not on him
But I don’t know that he was ever gonna grasp that sometimes, you have to give fans hope. Did not have to be Hart, but the crowd tonight was clearly begging for hope for better days ahead - AllInForFlyers

That whole broadcast seemed like a totally different experience. I don't care about the fans. I'm thinking of the work environment. It's like night and day. |

It did — I thought you could always tell that Barkann and Boruk did not believe in Hakstol. Barkann tonight, you’d think Hart was his kid

Many fans don't like Boruk and Barkann.... It would make me happy if they were replaced. |

No doubt in my mind that Hart gets another look on Thursday.

So glad I went ! Felt the best it has in that place all year. Hart kept it simple. Team played well in front of him. Only knock I had was the 4th line. Varone oooof I almost hope lehtera doesnt get convicted cause I'd rather have had him in. Like that Gordon trusted his best players to well be our best players. Veterans kids etc didnt matter. And sanheim he just had a solid game. Went unnoticed by some but I love that Gordon is trusting him after all no cosch knows him better.
Detroit was sloppy. And we wouldnt of won vs some better teams. But this performance was more indicative of where we thought they'd be. But I think Gordon is an excellent interim choice with his player familiarity and trust. I was skeptical at first. I dont think hes a long term fix but the trust was evident. |

Easiest way to get rid of someone, get Isaac to send out a tweet about them... |

Trust me: It was obvious that Gordon trusts Sanheim and Sanheim wasn’t looking over his shoulder after every shift. Knew he was going back out

I am not calling Varone a true NHLer, but he had a good game. I get people want every chance buried, but I could list the open shots by the stars this game that weren't buried either. What I have seen SO FAR, he fits a better role with this team then Weal. |

Yes, Varone was really noticeable, played fast and confident.
