Reilly's decision making is really really bad...as soon as you put pressure on him he turns the puck over.
- BashCH

This is true

And very unfortunate, I had high hopes for him, his skating is phenomenal but like you said, he struggles under pressure

Like Stinger said what other option is there? Even the first wave of the PP with Weber is putrid.

it's such a sad thing to watch. and it's not even like they cannot move the puck around the zone and create chances. they can. problem is it takes them 90-100 seconds to gain the zone because they obviously lose just about every faceoff to start a powerplay. you would think at this point they would just dump and chase every time.

They also lose every puck battles when entering the zone...

Yeah, they might as well start with the face off in their own zone for every PP. Would save time. Not sure what good the extra time would do, but...

Danny Dubé pulled out their stats at 4 on 4 and 3 on 3 and they are also horrible. For a team who's strenght is skating they are terrible with extra space and time.

That's part of my problem with it.

Plus, are they really doing what's best for the kids? Are they not (frank)ing them up as we speak?

With Joel Bouchard down there I don't think so. Hudon is really the one getting shafted here, I expect he'll be put on waivers soon.

I dont know if he's getting shafted or if he just doesn't bring enough to be an everyday NHL player...

For sure they've tried to trade him, and there are no takers.

He had lots of chances at the beginning of the season. Didn't take advantage.

I've never said we'll miss Hudon, they give him a shot with Drouin and Domi and he shat the bed where Shaw seized it.

Find it hard to believe that no one wants to trade for him though. He's still a young guy with offensive potential and works pretty hard. I could see him getting 40 pts on a line where he's clicking.

Other GMs know he'll be on waivers sooner than later, why give up any assets?

I don't think they want to send any more guys with one-way contract in the AHL. There is also the AHL development rule to take into consideration here.

Of the 18 skaters (not counting two goaltenders) that teams may dress for a game, at least 13 must be qualified as “development players.” Of those 13, 12 must have played in 260 or fewer professional games (including AHL, NHL and European elite leagues), and one must have played in 320 or fewer professional games. All calculations for development status are based on regular-season totals as of the start of the season.
