I doubt he overhauled the majority of the scouting staff. And I'm still not sold on the CHL staff judging by the picks we've made in that league since JB's arrival. It's basically the American scouts + EP that have saved them.

I wonder how much John Weisbrod and Benning agree on things.

Horvat was paired with Virtanen and Goldy
Pettersson with Leivo and Brock
Gaudette centered Loui and Roussel (I thought they had great chemistry the last few games)
Beagle centered Motte and Granlund.

Not sure why hes changed the lines, they have been clicking and playing good hockey.

There was a few line changes but for the most part that line was together.

I'm pretty sure they made the change prior to the last game but I'm just going off of what I remember.

I think what most forget is the rest of the play where a significant event doesnt happen.

Hopefully someone like Jett Woo turns out to be a great pick.

Brackett was a change in itself, but I think this kind of happened quietly https://www.vancourier.co...scouting-staff-1.20990656

Horvat was out a lot against McDavid, and that guy was getting double shifted a ton, so lots of juggling.

Yeah, I remember reading about that. But who was brought to replace those guys?

It's a valid question that I honestly can't find the answer to. Brackett was the big change, dominos have/will fall from him from what I understand.

I'm excited for tonight's game.

We've got peak Tampa Bay Lightning right now—a team with so much talent that doesn't get a ton of TV time—and which I feel like I've missed a few times in recent years when they've come to town.

Great test for the Canucks. Here's the new blog:

I stand Corrected, you are right. I must be losing it. I thought Horvat was with Virtanan and Goldy.

Holy Christmas Nucker, we were having a good match until Sunday when I only had a couple players and you had a full lineup, you tore me a new one....well done young lad, well done

I'm the Jim Benning manager of the pool this year, start strong but finish near the bottom.
