I agree what you said, but the evaluation has more to do with how this team plays as a group more than making a list of who is good and who is bad. The problem with this team is they don't excel at any one thing, maybe faceoffs this year, most of the roster forwards are grouped into what I consider nothing special category.

If the team wanted to play a more fast transition game, which players would benefit and which would look like Weise in all situations. Who do you keep and what roles can they play.

All that is a smokescreen, Joel will probably take that job, the big question is what will Chicago ask for as part of compensation? I am sure they have their eyes on a couple of the young flyer defenseman possibly. But then again Bowman may screw that up also.
