Ullmark is probably the best Sabres goalie prospect that's come up thru Rochester since biron???

Ahl allstar last year?

Thats why i said Rochester bodies, sprinkle in a pick or two and bam

Still have a cap issue.

And honestly, at this stage of the game, as good as Giroux and Vorachek are/have been, they don't fit into the blueprint here. Same reason I wouldn't want Kane or Toews. Love the players. Just not the right fit at this point of the team makeup and their age.

rochester bodies don't get you voracek or giroux.

its like another fan base saying their ahl guys for Skinner/Reinhart/Mittelstadt. you'd probably laugh.

- Sabresfan-365

some would probably trade a skunk for a few ahl guys and say it's cap relief

nope, either a top 4 d man or young center/winger

my guess is nothing happens until skinner signs or gets traded

Harrington also noted a recent proposal in The Hockey News in which the Sabres acquire Buffalo native Patrick Kane from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for Sam Reinhart, Jason Pominville, Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen, Brendan Guhle, Victor Olofsson and three first-round draft picks. “No truth to the rumor the deal also includes a partridge in a pear tree,” he scoffed, pointing out Kane’s $10-5-million annual cap hit for the next four years would be a problem.

Holy christ..... NEVER have I seen something so STUPID proposed.

half this place didn't want to tank for eichel and thought nolan and moulson could lead them to competitive hockey.

That trade doesn't even scratch the surface of idiocy.

The franchise chose Ullmark over Peterson. That is why Peterson left.

They're not trading Ullmark. Unless it's for Vasilevskiy.

- TheSabresTaco

Peterson left beacuse he didn’t want to be here

UPL is the future not Ullmark imo

There's a guy in the paragraph below that does NOT have the ability to take over a game.

"I didn’t think Krech’s [Krejci] line had anything early on. Marchy’s [Marchand] under the weather so expected him to be a bit off, but it just didn’t look like was going to be a good matchup against Eichel,” said Cassidy. “Turns out none of our match-ups were. His line clearly had their way, no matter who we put out there and it ended up being the difference in the game.”

why would they trade a 30 goal third line centre with above average defense?

no, I think it's either 5 years at 9 per

6 at 8.5 per

or 7 at 8 per

my guess the term will be shorter then 7 years

but if he does not sign, he will be traded by deadline no matter where the sabres are in the standings

unless a verbal is agreed on for an 8 year deal

Without Nylander and Matthews for an extended period of time, they were a top 5 team in the NHL.

How exactly is it not working for them?
